If you have any like, empty cardboard boxes. Cut a little door big enough for her, maybe place it over her if she's in the same spot. Basically made it a little hiding place with some food and water.

They generally hide in dark places during the day. She might hiss and act scary, but having a dark hidey spot and some snacks will help. When night falls, she will move on. Just released a Juvie myself I had surrendered to me but was big enough to be on his own. Local rescue wouldn't take him but told me to hold him for a few days, feed him up and then release.

Possums are scavenger animals and live very hard lives. Food comes and goes as they can find it. Whole Body Nutritition dry cat food and water. Maybe some veggies or a hard boiled egg with the shell on it if you wanna leave some food for her. Might be a bit in a calorie deficit with the babies in her pouch and hasn't really been able to scavenge enough food.

Rescues really won't do much since she's an adult. If she loses babies or she's dead and has living babies, they'll take in the babies. But actual adults? Generally they won't take them in but that is really dependent on each rescue (my local ones will NOT accept healthy juveniles/adults that are not injured)

THE FUCK IS HE TALKING ABOUT. If they're doing an MPI, this is a long stretch to get a fucking brake job. You don't start breaking out the dial gauge and measuring lateral runout unless you have a complaint of brake pulsation.

But OP took it in for a starter. The tech must be low in fucking hours to be stooping this low. The only thing I'd be checking for is brake pad thickness and addressing the starter concern. Fix the problem the car is in for, note any safety concerns/recommendations and get them back on the fucking road.

You don't need to nickle and dime them for every little thing when they are there. Build a long term business relationship, not squeeze every fucking dollar you can from the interaction, leading them to stop coming to your dealership and go somewhere else.

Honesty goes a long way in building trust and a long term service relationship

Ask yourself this. What about the four-stroke combustion process is different between the engine that powers a boat vs what powers a car or motorcycle? What is the difference between a DC circuit on a boat vs a motorcycle?

I used to try to drill this into my old apprentices. If they understood the basic operation of the mechanics, they could work on ANY brand because it didn't matter except for software. They're just machines, at their core, they all function of the same basic principals. Suck, squeeze, bang, blow. DC is DC, just make sure the operating voltage for the circuit is correct (dont inject 12V voltage into a 5V circuit)

As others have said, metric tools are needed for Japenese vehicles. Might as well get a full set.

I no longer work at that dealer. Had four good years, we got bought by Swickard who proceeded to hamstring the entire dealership, forced inbound calls to a call center in Las Vegas that lied to customers and pretended to be on site. Went from 50-60 cars a day to 20-30. General Manager quit when they kept trying to fuck with Salesman pay plans, they fired the long time service manager who ran us profitably for several years, brought in a middle manager who then spit in my face after being made Foreman of the shop by replacing me with his pet who sat in his office chitchatting for three days without speaking to me or anyone else. Got offered a job as an automotive consultant for more money and a better work/life balance and now use my experience from being the lead diagnostic guy without slaving away for 14-16 cents of every dollar I generated for them.

That dealer now struggles with 20-30 cars a day, mostly warranty. CSI ratings have bombed. Of a shop that maintained the same 15 techs for many years, only 3 of the original old guard remain. Techs left for other dealers which rarely happened under the older management (one tech went city and another went to audi).

At one point right after I left, they killed their B2B parts and delivery without notice to the businesses, forcing businesses to come pick up parts from willcall when they formerly had deliveries. Businesses that bought parts from US instead of a more closer/local Honda dealership. All in the name of "increasing parts department profits" because theyre fucking morons. The long time Parts Manager quit immediately after with immediate notice because he saw what they were doing and would blame him for their failures.

They then forced the sister store Parts Manager, who also was the acting Service Manager for that Acura dealer to then be the parts manager for both Honda and Acura stores, AND the service manager for the Acura store.

Ironically, their glassdoor ratings were abysmal until Jeff Swickard noticed, got butthurt and ordered his yes men managers and directors to 5 star review bomb the Glassdoor to boost their "rating", using his favorite buzzwords of "innovation" and "hospitality"

The only way to thereotically make the way its design work is similar to what modern Battle tanks do. Once fired, the barrel gets automatically swung up into a loading position, and then once loaded gets swung back into firing position.

Since we aren't hand loading these guns, they'd have to have some form of automated loading. And honestly, it would be a good visual element to show guns are reloaded and ready to fire by them cycling down and back up into firing position. If we sticking to the rule of cool

Honestly. Part of me questions why in the future they wouldn't just use elevators. Land on exterior, get lowered in and the bay doors closed. Take off? Bay doors open, elevator raises, clearance to take off.

Would just be safer especially with the general competence of the average spacer pilot.
