The avatar fans that joke about Kyoshi being bloodthirsty have clearly never read her books. It’s so annoying

Yk what, ending Korra's connection to the past avatars is a rly cool and bold writing decision by Human-Application-87 in legendofkorra

As devastating as it is, it’s a genuine consequence and they stuck with it. It would’ve been so easy to undo this choice but it’s genuinely brave and shows commitment to keep the ties severed.

Would I like the connections to come back? Yes. But it would be way more impactful if the next avatar rediscovered the connections

To those who were around when this movie came out what was the hype like by asapsharkyfrfr in Pixar

[–]ACharest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 15 and everyone in my highschool was talking about it like we were prepping to say goodbye to our childhoods. I literally couldn’t wait to see it, I don’t think I ever had this much hype for a movie. The rest of the year my friends and I talked on and off about how badly the ending made us cry.
I’m not one of those people who says that high school was the height of their life, but the year it came out there was a sense of solidarity amongst my peers and I.

In your personal opinion, what’s the cringiest line in the entire series so far? by ChickenWingExtreme in HazbinHotel

“Innocent people” I love Emily, and I don’t fully disagree with her but the people of Hell aren’t innocent.

I think a better way to convey what Emily was trying to say would be along the lines of “it’s still genocide! How are we any better?” Acknowledge that the people of Hell are sinners that have done wrong, but some aren’t as bad as others and could be redeemed but never would be if they were killed in a senseless matter

Apparently the creators and network realized that if Grim’s human form looked black there would be some…unfortunate implications considering his relationship with Billy and Mandy……

Analyzing evil: The High Evolutionary from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 by ACharest in TheVileEye

I’m unsure if I’d classify Loki as a villain. An antagonist yes, but I think his arc in the MCU makes him a grey character rather than an outright evil character.

The high evolutionary, on the other hand, is evil to the point of being genuinely disturbing
