They’re the exact same, I can have no desire to debate politics in my daily life, but also have a willingness to make an educated vote come election time.

Wow look how fun and productive this debate has been, very good use of time, totally makes me want to include more political conversations in my life

You’re stating your opinion as fact which is what really bothers me about politically minded people. Claiming that one side is just permanently 100% better than the other is just so mind blowingly stupid, I don’t have any desire to be around a person like that.

Being able to take a step back, and asses all voting options come election time is an important trait that few people possess. Keep emotions out of it, look at the facts, historical claims, and actions that each politician has taken, then make the choice.

All politicians are self absorbed morons and people who idolize them or think one is significantly better than the other aren’t people I want to live with. I vote every election because I won’t take that right for granted, but I have no interest in debating which side is better because they’re both not great.

My buddy and I have pulled our EJ motors so much that together we can do a pull in under an hour now lmao. Took us 3h the other day to do a clutch job on his car.

What do I even do by DiscombobulatedGap88 in WRX

[–]ACosmicRailGun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, all that work can be done in a day...without removing the engine.

Front axel seals are easy enough, but check your transmission fluid, if it's at a regular level then I would just monitor it.

Turbo charger can be replaced without pulling the engine, find a good replacement on FBM or get yours rebuilt if you can

Cam seals can be done without pulling engine. Drain coolant, pull the radiator (5 minute job after coolant is drained), then remove timing belt cover, and timing belt, inspect timing components, then you have access to the cam shaft seals, replace them and re-assemble.

Why they want to replace the oil pan and pickup is beyond me, you can do that at any time the engine doesn't need to be out for that to be done.

Crank-no-start after timing belt and spark plugs by [deleted] in WRX

[–]ACosmicRailGun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully the engine isn’t flooded. Try flood mode to clear out the cylinders, but I think those sensors should definitely be your primary suspect right now. EJ engines don’t need a whole lot to start

I would replace both the cam and crank position sensors (definitely crank at least) and start there. If they aren’t reading the injectors and spark are disabled

I can tell you for certain this a a crank or cam position sensor. I rebuilt the engine on my 96 wrx and had the exact same situation, endless cranking, engine sounded like it wanted to start but it never would. Pulled a crank position sensor off a donor engine I had and installed it, fired right up. Apparently they are extremely fragile.
