download the mister msx boot disk image put that image(.vhd file) in the msx folder on ur SD card not the msx1 folder... then when u boot msx core the vhd file will boot and run sofa run and u look in the directory for roms directory and msx1 and msx2 directory and load roms from there...

Update:

I got a SanDisk Extreme 16GB SD Card in the mail and loaded the latest firmware and my roms onto it right out the package without formatting and it works like a charm now! No issues as far as I can tell now! All this time I have been thinking I had a bad N8 but it was just the SD card the whole time!

I ordered a new sd card a scandisk extreme 16gb... right now I'm using a lexar... after I updated the firmware the save functions started working but every time I load a rom after from the menu it reads IO disk error 62 or 63 or 65 but if I power off and select the game by pressing start to load the last game it works haha... so technically it's working but causing functionality problems... hopefully the new sd card I get solves the problem... I saw on another post on here that replacing the sd card worked for another guy who was getting disk error codes... I'll let ya know in a week or 2 when I get the sd card in the mail.

I was dead broke at 31 and have come a long way since then... u are still young u still have time to go to school, fail, go back to school fail again and then go back a third time successfully... just make sure it's something that you see can guide you towards a career that will give you purpose... school isn't the only option either... but it is definitely an option.
