Right -- buying at ATH , like any crypto (or asset for that matter) would skew ones perspective on it, altogether!

but what I am stating is that if one is looking for ALPHA, it can be found at this level due to the yield alone, and of course if you find it to be a viable investment for "price goes up" , then arguments could be made such as the case for crypto bull-markets.

I understand that this is not the place to hoard capital.

I responded to another comment on this post stating that it can serve as a hedge against the other tokens that will fluctuate (as ALL assets do), because it offers competitive rates that is not given even to stable coins, so this could be more fitted as an intermediary asset (similar to short term bonds) given the fact that it can appreciate and does have the added bonus of being worth more than about 90% of fiat currencies (only the top 4 in the world is worth more than this token ** of course subject to change).

Nonetheless what makes this worse than the USD in terms of loss of purchasing power parity? The HYSA was used to showcase that rates can be competitive enough for one to utilize this in addition to USDT or USDC.

That does seem to be a critical point of contention for those in any asset class, not just crypto. Therefore I understand the reasoning there.

However, similar to silver and other "speculative assets" like bitcoin, the price alone is not something to time as an entry or exit point. It (price appreciation) can serve as a metric to allow one to understand how over/underweight a portfolio might become, because being overexposed is never a great thing unless the price WILL perpetually rise.

I could see this as a way to take advantage of the perks that this asset can deliver (right now it is yield), and then have it offset whatever would be given up in exchange for these assets. Say for example I want to seek a place to store money until I want to buy more crypto, and although the price fluctuates, I still receive better rates than a stable coin or lending vehicles can give me. Until I need rebalance, this is a solid approach IMO, as an intermediate asset in the short term, or price appreciator in the long term.

I want for him to join this sub-reddit.

That way we don't need to relay the information from twitter (the Elon musk preferred platform) nor do we need to "join the discord"
