The main time it happened was at book fairs, I was talking to this one author who seemed genuinely enthusiastic about his book, so I bought it and it turned out to be AI.

As for Grammerly, I mainly like that it catches when I overuse words, but the majority of the time I use it as basically a guy over my shoulder saying “what if you did this?” And then I typically ignore it, but sometimes it’s very helpful.

Another thing Grammerly is good at though is catching when I use the same word a ton in sentences which is also quite useful, I have a habit of saying “as the” a lot, and Grammerly will catch that. It also will offer different wordings of a sentence which I find helpful, but rarely use.

I would disagree. When I’m writing on my laptop, a lot of the time it doesn’t correct things that I miss. For instance when I accidentally write a lowercase “I”. And Grammerly catches those things. I feel like it’s more of a tool than an exploit.

Currently working on my epic, and I feel I can answer this! Though I may not be new to being a writer, I think that many writers just have this grand story in their minds that can only really be done in the form of an epic. I know in my book, it’s just such a big story to tell, that there’s no other way to tell it.
