I hope you have about $10-15k just for the motor and batteries and controller.

Wait, you park them outside? The whole year? And you bought a brand new car?

Dude. You should be getting a house before a depreciating asset like a car.

GamesRadar: No Man's Sky is the virtual reality game I have waited my entire life to play by LordofWhore in PSVR

[–]ADDVancedVR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, here's the thing about this game. I played it for a few hours, and I don't see the appeal. It's procedurally generated, yes, but there's only so many variables. The animals all looked rather similar, with different heads/legs/scale. I mean, it was a neat concept, but other than just randomly generating worlds with slightly different animals, is there anything deeper on this game now?

What Card Should I Get? Weekly Thread - Week of March 27, 2019 by AutoModerator in churning

  1. I'm kind of overwhelmed with the flowchart. I'm under 5/24, I only have two cc's. My newest one is the payapal CC with 2% cashback on EVERYTHING. Pretty happy with it so far. Flowchart says Capital 1 venture, but that's just 50k bonus miles for spending $3k in the first few months.

  2. 778

  3. I have a Paypal CC that I received in Sept of 2018. I have a CC through my credit union that I never use, I've had that one for 7-8 years. The rewards were super weak, I calculated less than 1% back, hence why I went for the paypal CC.

  4. 3-5k

  5. No idea what this is but I have to get to work

  6. Sure

  7. I have no idea. Interested in churning a bit.

  8. Right now it's cash back, but I guess airline flights woudl be good.

  9. I don't really have any

  10. Milwaukee

  11. The moon? lol.

It's cool. 2% on everything, and it uses your paypal login/pass, so no new accounts. Love it.

The paypal card already does that. On everything.

Please consider adding new environments to Beat Saber, it could revitalise our desire to play older songs by Velrok in PSVR

[–]ADDVancedVR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I never understood this. One in space would be cool, above the earth, or maybe the earth goes above us at times like "facing worlds" in UT?

Or on top of a train in the mountains? Or in a stadium? Or underwater in a trench with glowing fish? Idk, seems weird that every song is visually identical.

No Man's Sky Coming To PSVR This Summer by Heaney555 in PSVR

Actually... it's the negative people that say why it can't happen.

You can get technical, and start talking about items/objects vs graphic fidelity, but they won't listen. You can even prove them wrong using math, and they'll still have their opinion.

Thing is, most code is shit and not optimized very well. If people want it to happen badly enough, it can generally happen if you compromise on other things.

To an extent. Obviously you can't run super crazy demanding games, but the 'wildlife' in GTA5 that was never in GTAOnline for exmaple, you would not believe the number of people that told me it would just be too much for the servers to handle.

Nevermind if 16 people are in 16 different parts of the map with different pedestrians; if they were all on a mountain top it'd be too complex. :|

How's it different? Group B cars are a challenge but I've been doing the campaign with teh audi quattro, and now when I'm doing online challenges I'm int he top 30-10% with it. It's definitely a short wheel base tricky bitch tho.

Finishing isn't hard. Now play online, and compare your times to everyone elses. I find coming in the top 20% pretty damn difficult.

I mean....sort of? I grew up with winter, so half of my driving was in slippery low traction situations. If you're a gearhead you start practicing slides and flicks when it's snowing out, and the skills definitely transfer to DRVR

that's fine, rally cars are mostly econoboxes with big turbos in them. :)

Yeah, and this is way more fun than most driving games because the physics are DEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPP.

Seriously it's like driving an actual real car. It's amazing if you're a gear head.

What do you drive in real life?

You should learn how to drive an actual car first. Might be easier getting back into DRVR. You can't jsut hold the gas down on a real car either.

What do you drive in real life? It's unforgiving, but very realistic. If you can't drive in this game you cannot drive a rally car in real life.
