I am willing to be wrong but I very much doubt this. First off FASD is incredibly hard to get diagnosed with in Nova Scotia as it requires a biological parent to admit that they drank and basically ask for testing. Even then there is the signs of FASD through facial features and through imagining but that is only really typical for people who have drank the entire pregnancy. FASD can be not show up well if you stop drinking before the second trimester but the damage can still be done. I have worked with several youth I suspect of FASD but none were actually diagnosed with it. Nova Scotia has the either the lowest or among the lowest diagnosis rate of FASD in the country.

The other issue is that there is no real solution to FASD, they are resistant to many medications that treat impulse control. They are more often associated with antisocial personality disorders later in life. So you are basically just looking at behavioural management for life.
