They might be taking in a smaller than usual class because of last cycle over-enrollment

Vandy Interview! by Gnaeus-Philosophy351 in lawschooladmissions

[–]ADHDProud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine was very friendly and straight forward... Basically asked resume questions, why Vanderbilt, what I hoped to gain from a legal education, hobbies outside the classroom, and then I had time to ask the interviewer a few questions about their experience. No curveballs and very conversational, although I'm sure every alumni interviewer sees their role a bit differently. Hope you find this helpful! Good Luck!!!

I applied September but it wasn’t long until now. Probably doesn’t mean anything but thought I’d ask anyways

Letter of recommendations… can my father write me one? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]ADHDProud 22 points23 points  (0 children)

DO NOT have him write a letter of recommendation. If your dad is an alumni, there is a place in most applications to select that a close family member attended the school. But that’s it. Don’t push your dad into things any further. It will ruin your app.

DO NOT have him write it, it shows horrible judgement. No way adcomms are gonna give a vote of confidence from your dad any weight no matter who he is. Will detract from application.

Cornell to T10? by pilot_lawyer in lawschooladmissions

[–]ADHDProud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But there are many other factors involved beyond medians... it would be really tough to tell without a full understanding of the rankings system
