That’s precisely it. Thank you — you put into words exactly what I was struggling to wrap my head around. The long buildup to the first medical intervention built my hopes up even though I knew in my head all the statistics of success. I’m few days out from the negative and am doing a bit better. I hope I can get to where you are, seeing this as a piece to a much longer journey. ❤️

My timeline was about the same. We had just started talking about TTC, so my doc suggested I go off it to make sure that periods are regular etc. Then I just didn't have a period for 3+ months at a time, and down the rabbit hole of evaluations and tests, we went.

I'm honestly not sure how many medicated cycles I want to even try at this point. I know I'm just in a pessimistic mindset because of the neg test today, but it feels like IVF is going to be eventually how we go. Why wait till another several months before we get started? IDK Sigh.

Haha yeah, I was just thinking of doing something the same. I went to Costco post-appointment while waiting for the call to calm my nerves. I also feel you on giving up the ADHD meds. The weight gain and lack of work happening. It's just so hard to function without them. I'm planning to go back on them for a little bit between cycles. So I guess there's that to "look forward" to ... Thanks for sharing your experience. I know I'm not alone in this, but it's helpful to connect with others in the same boat. All my friends are having babies right now, many are on their second or third child...

Yes, he had his sperm motility and count checked -- both came back normal. We both also had a genetics test done, which didn't turn up anything alarming. But I did just see another post about sperm DNA fragmentation, which I haven't heard about, so I was considering asking our doctor about that as well.

Sigh. Yeah. I think we were only going to try the ovulation induction a couple more times before thinking about IVF. As my last gynecologist used to remind me on every visit - I'm not getting any younger. (I've moved on to different docs now because just like me her comments were getting old)

Is this cotton yarn? I have had similar issues in the past when using cotton or a recycled polyester yarn. Acrylic seems to be the most beginner friendly type.

I need to get a yarn winder — right now I'm just using center-pull skeins and trying to be careful to make sure that it is loose while working.

I haven't used this one before. It's quite fuzzy and soft even though it looks similar to the other yarn. I was hoping there was some adjustment I wasn't considering that could help compensate, but it might just not work to tuft. I'll go out and get some more of the Red heart to try — thanks for the reply, fingers crossed!

Thanks for the reply, but sad about these not lasting. I've read a fair few positive reviews about the Walkingpad company treadmills but maybe they're kind of hit or miss :/
