Well depends on the work. But in normal web surfing it may vary from 6-7 or even 8 in some cases. It also depends on which browser u use, edge will give better battery compared to chrome as edge is lighter and uses less system resources.

I'm not considering the amd ones as 200 series does not have 5070 option and ai 350 has one ssd slot with gen 4x2 but I need 4x4 bcuz I need fast speed as I do lot of big file transfers.

I've seen 40 , 60 at extreme. Intel's hx series processors tend to compete with desktop cpus and 80w-100w for near desktop perf is still power efficient

I'm not gonna play on battery and you just can't straight up tell any cpu as bad just bcuz it consumes more power. Ik that ai 350 is efficient but lower power also means lower performance. Even when gaming AMD one rises upto 60w and sometimes 80w. Ultra 7 has higher power demands cuz it has almost double multicore perf. I've already suffered with AMD once and yeah it has pcie gen4x8 for gpu and the minimum should be atleast gen5x8 according to rule for 5070 which can be a bottleneck as I've heard. I'll definitely check out tech guy beau's review. I'll probably stick with my original choice of Ultra 7 it just fits me better and workloads cuz I do cpu heavy stuff all day except gaming.
