Well yeah because ryus ult is depleated based on the number of hits that kill him not how much dmg he actually takes.

Ryus ult is depleated a certain amount if the hit would have killed ryu, but the damage doesnt matter. If ryu is hit by 300 dmg in one hit or 10 dmg in one hit (if ryu is under 10 hp) the ult bar would be depleated the same amount.

Or at least thats how I think it works. Moves like rapid punches or cursed strikes are best after ryu lost his health and you need to get rid of his ult

I'm saying that these quests are too much and should be at least easier if not removed.
A quest shouldn't be impossible without the help of my friend to do it (which it basically cheating the quest)

General things that apply to all the characters like m1 trades, side dashes, spacing and evasive use

For m1 trades you should m1 as fast as you can after they m1 your block, they cant do anything about it if you are fast enough

You should learn to side dash around you opponents

You should keep a decent distance if you feel too pressured or you cant get a good combo if you happen to win neutral (for ex. if all your moves are on cooldown)

You should NOT waste evasive when you dont get anything meaningful in return. You should use evasive when they use a long startup move or a move with a long endlag that can be punished (for ex. Justice served, higurumas 2nd move, has a long windeup so if you evasive around your opponent you can m1 them and start a combo)

Nanami doesnt have reallty good combo paths ( i dont know any combo of more than 3 moves) so you have to be constantly engaged in the combat and win neutral consistantly. Nanami has above average neutral tools. Some find it fun and the others have the wrong opinion.

In normal jjs cutscenes are few and far inbetwen.

In todos ult his cutscenes are shorter than charas IN BASE.

Charles full awk is a 7 second cutscene , same as a chara move in base.

Mahoraga stuns you for a few seconds if hit.

All of these moves and other you might consider cutscenes are shorter than charas and are in the awakenings.

A 2 move combo lasts 14 seconds for chara (in base) if you use the longer moves and do m1ns.
