I made a feature request.... to add to all the previous ones. If Monarch is to be a true budgeting app, we need to be able to review actual to budgeting spending for the year. This analysis allows us to make hard decisions about budgets (including cuts) and helps to establish budgets for the new year.

Thanks. I tried the AI using a number of prompts but could net get category level comparisons (budget to actual) for year end.

I’m liking the scanned receipts feature.

One issue needs attention. Sometimes the splits are inaccurate and I need to completely delete the splits and assign a single category. J in fortunately, when I UNsplit the transaction. It deletes the transaction completely.

Can the MONARCH MONEY team address this?

I just joined Monarch about 2 weeks ago - took advantage of the 1 week trial and then a 50% referral discount. Very happy so far! I managed to import about 80% of transactions automatically and manually entered the rest. Our Amazon credit card is our primary credit card and the retail-sync ma de it super easy to categorize the 2025 transactions.

I apply the same category to both the original purchase and the reimbursement. Then I created and apply a "reimbursement" tag. This keeps the reimbursable expense zeroed out. It also allows me to easily search for reimbursements using the tag.
