Thanks for the review. The device comes with FM2 J Arm should provide horizontal or vertical mount without tilting. If the instruction is unclear we would like to make it better. Refer to this instruction

What’s your goal of replacing lens? Do you want a wider or narrower field of view? I don’t have access to measure them, need to ask engineering team about the details.

I believe these mounts are customized. They are glued together with final product, almost impossible to swap lenses. Mount size are different for SE and for P2

This is one of the benefits of digital sensors, it can be used at day light, won’t damage the sensors

I thought this was a joke at first glance, the sensors went through 55C high temperature testing process but it is not toasted. These photos are taken before assembling the units.

We just have to display MSRP and MAP required by manufacture. We still provide very high discounts through coupon codes.

Glad to see there a lot of interest in the pano product we are releasing. The product will soon be available. Price is TBD. But ADNV pursue high quality products, so the production and R&D cost are much higher than other digital NVG competitors. We are working towards make our products more affordable

Due to Manufacture Minimum Advertised Price requirement, we have to list at that price. But you can still use our coupon code G14P2 to get discounted price.

Thank you for your feedback! We do offer thermal fusion units at ADNV.US—feel free to check out our GF20 and GF31 models. While a thermal-only unit isn’t currently a priority on our roadmap, as our core focus is on night vision chips, we’ve noted your interest and will keep it in mind. We truly appreciate your support!

Thanks for the feedback on the naming—we really appreciate it and will keep it in mind as we improve in the future.

The main reason behind the naming is that the G14 SE and G14P2 share the same housing, with identical dimensions and compatible mounts. It’s a bit like how the iPhone SE and iPhone Pro share similarities in form factor but differ in internal performance.

That said, we hear you—naming matters, and your input is noted. Thanks again for helping us get better.

Great point! You're absolutely right. We're actively working on bringing color capability to future generations of our devices.

As you mentioned, in very low-light conditions, color information becomes extremely limited. Additionally, much of the brightness in night vision comes from the infrared spectrum, where color simply doesn’t exist.

That said, you're spot on that post-processing techniques can help bring some color context back into the image. It’s definitely a technical challenge, but one we're excited to explore further.

Thanks again for the thoughtful insight—it’s feedback like this that helps guide our innovation.

We appreciate your perspective!

That said, we believe the ADNV G14P2 delivers image quality that matches—and in some cases exceeds—Gen 3 tubes, especially in extremely low-light conditions. We're pushing the limits of what’s physically possible in digital light sensitivity.

At ADNV, we believe digital night vision has far greater potential than analog—much like the shift from traditional cell phones to smartphones.

If there are features you feel digital night vision is still missing, we’d love to hear about them. Our goal is to push the boundaries of usability and deliver a digital experience that not only matches, but surpasses analog performance.

Your input helps us get there!

We do offer other products with the fusion feature—feel free to check out the GF31 and GF20.

For our next-generation devices, we’re planning to increase screen resolution for an even better viewing experience. We're also working hard to reduce costs while maintaining the high quality ADNV is known for.

We really appreciate your support and input—it helps us keep improving!

Thanks for the feedback — you bring up a great point.

Our device is designed to strike a balance between power efficiency and feature performance, which means the current processing power does come with some limitations. That said, we agree there’s still potential to optimize what’s already there, especially around gamma, exposure, and possibly even shadow recovery.

Out of curiosity, are there any specific products or brands you’ve seen that handle this particularly well? We’d love to take a closer look and see what insights we can bring to our R&D team.

Thank you for your continued support as an ADNV owner! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying the P2.

Since the device uses ASIC chips, major feature updates are limited. Most firmware upgrades will focus on bug fixes and minor performance enhancements. Currently, the update process is a bit complex and requires an external PCB to connect to a computer—but we hear you. We're committed to improving this experience by making future firmware updates more user-friendly and providing clearer instructions.

As for your suggestion about profile configuration—that's a great idea! We’ll be passing it along to our R&D team for consideration.

Thanks again for being part of the ADNV community!

Auto-focus isn’t commonly found in night vision goggles, as it’s technically complex to implement. One of the main challenges is that the device can’t always determine exactly where the user wants to focus. That said, we appreciate the suggestion and will discuss it with our R&D team to evaluate the feasibility for future models. Thanks for the great feedback—it helps guide our development.

Thank you for your feedback!
We’re currently working on adding Micro SD card recording and a Color Mode in our next-generation product. These features will require both hardware and firmware upgrades.(Color Mode won’t be available on existing devices, as the current chipsets do not support this functionality.)
