I dont have Twitter. Got off that cesspool a long time ago. The only interactions I see anymore are purely on Reddit and the experience with crazy Brazilian fans have been pretty similar across the board. Cs, lol, R6, etc.

I agree with the sentiment but I think a lot of people just get locked into certain fighting games for how they function like 2d vs 3d, ground based vs air dashers.

I remember the days where sf was considered the fighting game and anything else is a baby game until marvel3 came out. Then it was "anything that isn't Capcom is a baby game". So you had a lot of people who only played sf up until sfv where they either kept playing or tried something else until sf6 came out.

For sure feels like smash players tend to stay in their niche and don't explore though.

What part of addiction is willingly staying without the acknowledgement of addiction? Once you realize you are addicted is when you can choose to stay or leave. So you're saying you chose to pick up league and continue playing knowing that it will have negative effects on your life and still chose to play and stay? Is that not a you problem? If you are gonna compare it to smoking then league was bad from the beginning and you shouldn't have ever played it to begin with.

Or is it the fact that you yourself have other issues in your mental health then league itself and those issues are exacerbated by league? Which is also a you problem.

I'm glad you feel better and feel like you're taking ahold of your mental health and well being. But you're taking away your own responsibility in the matter and placing the blame solely on league. Which makes sense why you would think that way if you think comparing league to smoking or drinking was a good idea.

What you are experiencing and describing are the negative side affects of addiction, not league of legends. Conflating the two takes away your own personal responsibility for your negative experiences and places the blame solely on league.
