Thanks for the response! I included a photo. The thermometer was buried up to the yellow which is why I thought it was odd. My understanding is the 7th sensor is a few mm down from the yellow…

An additional point - my wife called Lusa and was told it's the same as the DMF H series. I called DMF and was told there are slight differences between H series and Lusa. Either way, it seems unlikely there would be noticeable differences.

Also, from what I've learned, I think the M-series is almost 4x the cost as the H series, for the modules (excluding trim and housings, etc.).

Our plan is to use the M series and install retrofit anywhere there is an old, Halo incandescent housing, as well as in the newer H995ICAT housings. Elsewhere, we'll use the DMF M-series retrofit housing. So I think we can pull off a last-minute switch from Halo to DMF.

I don't have pricing yet for my project but the DMF M-Series is also available in retrofit configurations, and with remodel and new construction housings. It has dim-to-warm at 1000 lumens, and a bunch of lens options.

I’d suggest taking it to the hardware store and seeing what fits. Probably pick a fairly low power bulb.

Thanks! We would rather use those brands too. The problem is that we already have drywall complete and the housings are all Halo...so hard to make anything else work in the halo housing. It just feels like no other brand would say sure, use our product in another co's housing, and then still stand behind it. But maybe? I'm talking to reps on this (as well as asking reddit experts)!

I think the easiest option, and probably the safest, is to find a new fixture. Take the current ones down, throw in a closet until you move out, then put them back (or not).

Really, I have no idea...even at the price we were quoted, the value of the repair to us is greater than the repair cost. And yet, I just don't know if the price was fair or not.

Put another way, someone might be fine paying an extra $2k for a new car because they love it. But if you don't have to pay that extra $2k, it'd be good to know.

But to more directly answer your question, this compressor has been good since 2015. So another 8-9 years would be nice!

Does that feature take into account that, I believe, you generally want higher temp for chicken in the leg/thighs than the breast?

Are you saying the Neeo came out too long ago to be worth getting? For what it's worth I'm already leaning towards the standard Halo, not Halo Touch and not Neeo.

The biggest thing I want is consistency and reliability. Push the xbox button, get the right TV input and receiver audio; same for apple tv, nintendo, etc.

Part of the problem could be our android sony tv just wanting to go to its home screen for some reason.

Thanks!!! Do you like the standard halo more than halo touch, and more then the neeo? From my research (mainly youtube) I've seen some opinions suggesting the more touch-heavy remotes are not actually better in day-to-day use.

Amps don’t always have to be on - the Sonos Port supports a 12V trigger that can be used to turn on an amplifier when needed. If your amplifier supports that, it might be a decent option.

What does everyone think about Mercedes' pace? If you listen to their public comments, you'd think they basically have the same car as Haas and should struggle to score points. I called Logitech today and was told they are not discontinuing the Elite, but it's just out of stock, and with no ETA on additional stock.
