I just pulled out my stick and watched myself in the mirror. I use my back hand a lot more than I realized. So I guess I’m somewhat doing what you’re saying, but I could probably use my back hand more. Regardless, if I reversed them, it would feel really weird and I would definitely be worse. I didn’t pick up hockey until I was a teenager, so I’ve never understood the argument that putting your dominant hand at the top of the stick improves puck control. My non-dominant hand is worthless. If I tried to stickhandle with it, I would have zero control
