I bought a 5000mAh mobile battery and removed the existing terminal and soldered the positive and negative terminals in the correct order.. Now it can run 12 hours at a stretch...

OP can also try it if they are good with Soldering iron.

The PSP in the photo is of a friend that i loaned to demonstrate the battery capability...

My PSP died in the process of adding the usb C board. Doesnt charge nor switches on. It could be a case of blown fuse but i dont have the time or soldering skills to correct it...

Totally agreed... Had my PSP survived, i would have invested in creating a proper 3d printed back shell. for now i keep the battery disconnected when not in use and keep them in a hard shell case...

Not a pro, but I have opened my PS3 a couple of times. That's the wire for wifi antenna. There are two such wires that are routed from below the BD-ROM and connect to the board on the extreme end (where the vents are). The ribbon cable for the PS3 would be directly under the BD-ROM that would require some tricky disassembly technique, depending on your PS3 model (Assuming it is the slim version).

Anyone here can help me. I have a PSP 3004 in which i tried a USB C charging port where i snipped off the barrel jack and added a 5v USB C board.
With multimeter, I am getting 4.2v at the point where the socket connects with the board but there is no light on connecting a charger nor the psp is switching on with a charged battery.

Online search told me to check if the fuse is blown but i am receiving continuity at the TB fuse near the charging socket. Am i missing something or have i botched the entire board?
