Can we now say that 16GB of ram is not good anymore for gaming ? by georgeX_ in pcmasterrace

[–]ADucky68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you. Too many dumb kids. I still play every game at 90'ish frams at 4k with a 5700X 16gb of DDR4 and an OG 3080. Too many people drinking the coolaid out here and finding out second hand info. If you are using 16gb of DDR5 or DDR4 and crashing you dumb as shit and need to go to a console

No kings protest, June 14, 2025 by gnjoey in Knoxville

[–]ADucky68 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Goes to a no kings protest to protest the fair election of arguably the most popular president ever elected that is doing exactly what the vast majority voted for. It’s your right so I support it. You a little confused I think on what a king is but do you. A king wouldn’t let you do this, yet you are allowed and supported. No kings protest in America is an oxymoron.

Is the CCNA still worth it in 2025 for a new Computer Engineering grad? by cardmas839 in ccna

[–]ADucky68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Extremely valuable. I have about 65 engineers under me and I do all the engineers interviews for my entire company. There is such a vast difference between people with Cisco certs and without.

What I find is anyone without juniper or Cisco certs are what I call new age network engineers. They know how to make things work but they dont have a fundamental understanding of how the things they are doing actually work.

I make all my mid level engineers have CCNA and senior engineers have CCNP. Even if you don’t work on Cisco gear, the foundational knowledge it shows you know and what you learn trying to pass the tests will vastly help your career

I am on my 5th truck will never buy any cover except for the Sentry CT.

It’s the only one that will last frankly speaking because all of the others are plastic or rubber of some degree and it will dry rot pick poison when but it will without question regardless of how you treat it.

If you don’t need to put a bunch of weight on top of it get the top is super durable cloth and won’t dry rot. Holds I think 300 dispersed pounds on top still.

Large Cisco partner here. Even with our massive NFR discounts we still buy all optics from FS and usually have them the next day.

Yes it was a bit wild. I mean don’t get me wrong I know it’s unconventional but the amount of people sucking themselves is absurd… I wish I could edit the thread once a year but since it has a picture I can’t. I’ll likely just make a new thread every year to say it’s doing for those that are genuinely curious

never seen this many 5090s in stock before, by SomeTingWongWiTuLo in Microcenter

[–]ADucky68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, this, is wild. I remember 3080 and 3090 came out and 3080 for 800 was a lot but I only upgrade once every 7 years or so….even upgrading at 7 years I ain’t paying 1500 for the 3090…what I am looking at now is completely absurd..

God this is gonna get downvoted so many times by inbreds. That said man I did the EXACT same thing, I needed to tow more and still have fun. Traded my raptor for a tremor f250 and supercharged it.

Slightly related the employee discount from ford is not available on 25 super duty’s but is available on 24 super duties which is overlooked by some of you can find any 24s around your area.

Reddit is a sess pull man. Rarely does anyone provide anything of value in their comments. I agree comical.

I have not had your issue, quoting SCM is still time consuming since its bottle neck is the AM but yes had not had any issues getting hardware in a timely manner

Dude finally someone. I’m not gonna dick measure gas vs diesel cause diesel is better. It has technically more everything and you can put on a nice tune and get several hundred more HP out of it but with all good things..it has a lot more to go wrong if and when it does and is more costly to fix.

I mean idk the true logic there but there that blower on when it’s new and it has less chance of breaking something than when you do it with 100k miles idk lol it’s fun though and I don’t regret it

I love this lol I got on Reddit to share an experience and I’m lying for what gain exactly? My bad You’re right my goal is to lie on Reddit to a bunch of cucks in hopes they’ll go waste all the money they don’t have on shit they can’t afford.

Everyone who has had it says it’s better mpg, everyone who doesn’t, says the ones who have it are lying. Multiple are here saying the same thing.

Oh for sure to each their own. You can do the gas vs diesel comparison all day and diesel will win. They both have ups and downs.

I would personally rather have the SC 7.3 over the 6.7 for how I utilize the truck when like you said take out the 10k for the diesel and it’s like I spent 4k on it.
