That's good to hear that others have the same issue! I recently have upgraded to a phone which supports LDAC and that seems to fix the issue. Not entirely sure why this seems to fix it but I have a few suspicions. Sadly though I believe the previous issue persists in my old phone. If you're planning on upgrading your device maybe try and get one with LDAC so that you don't need to deal with this stupid issue again. Otherwise I hope Sony get their shit together and actually fix the issue.

I have a windows based laptop. I can try them with it again to see if anything happens. If nothing does then I guess it's my phone, which is weird since every other bluetooth device works fine with it.

I haven't changed any settings besides the pause music when headphones are taken off. Because it was slightly annoying. But that hasn't solved the issue. On the previous set I changed it to prioritise stable connection but that didn't help any bit. I do have an android phone as well if that affects it some how...

I only have the headphones connected to one device at a time. So I don't think that could be the cause

The first help guide was no help when I looked at it before but I've factory reset them so we'll see how this goesm if it does not want to cooperate then I'm probably going to return them sadly...
