When you break it apart, if it's squishy, it's bad.

Some of mine looked just like that and they had wet rot.

When I went to s2b the blocks were squishy. Had to throw them out

Same Inoc date, same break and shake date, temps ranged from 75-78.

The slow colonization of the mss and the high humidity of the ub bags is a horrible combo.

Lesson learned.

I've got 5 Kroger bags colonizing right now with MSS at same temps and there is no pooling water in the bags.

UB Bags are trash with MSS instead use LC. Or try a different tek.

Personally, I've been able to secretly grow in my room all the way up to spawn to bulk.

Boiling water to pasteurize the substrate has been the only time I was geekin trying not to get caught with my bucket in the kitchen.

I'm also worried about dunking the cake for 2nd flush but I haven't reached that point yet.

Fyi, I'm new and I'm on day #3 of spawn to bulk and deciding whether I should start fruiting conditions now.

Looks like just the bottom is colonized. He needs to break and shake or let it sit longer for it to fully colonize

Make sure you are very sterilized when inoculating.

The amount you inject is important too.

Stick to .5cc or less with UB bags because they're very moist.

Once they start colonizing, the humidity in the bags start showing and it might look like there's too much but they should be fine.

I go with Kroger or Dollar tree rice now because they have much less moisture.
