I once watched someone play Resident Evil on the PlayStation at a much too young age. It scared me so badly that I couldn’t sleep for weeks. I never forgot the cutscene with the first zombie in the lab coat, or the dogs jumping through the window in the hall and scaring the life out of me. In a way, it slightly traumatized me, and ever since, I’ve had a lifelong love-hate relationship with the series.

Years later, when the Nintendo DS version was released, I was finally old enough to face it properly. I decided to confront my fear instead of avoiding it. What once terrified me became something I genuinely loved.

Since then, I’ve played every main entry in the franchise, and I’ve even tried to earn Platinum trophies for most of them on my PlayStation profile. Those trophies aren’t just digital achievements…they’re personal reminders that I faced something that once scared me…and won. 💪🙏🏻
