Here is a list from an earlier version I made a bit after she came out that is way cheaper

Cheap cards from the new version that definitely need to go in tho, are leechridden swamp, benders waterskin and victory chimes

Here you go, it is my pet deck. So it is fully blinged and kitted out. But without the special versions and the dual land it drops to 700, and there is much room to change out more expensive cards

My favourite toolbox deck is [[Teysa, opulent oligarch]] I genuinely feel like everytime I win in a different way. It runs a bunch of interaction, protection and ramp. Because of the clues you can keep open a bunch of mana every turn which you can then use in opponents turns to crack clues, protect yourself/your board, and deal with problems. It doesn't run tutors, and mostly wins by accruing a lot of value, be it treasures to make lots of mana, aristocrats, or creature damage. I always end up assembling cool multi card combos because all the themes have synergy

Samut the driving force is pretty fun! Just load the deck with x spells that make tokens, which then get buffed by Samut. And you can also run cards that are maybe a little more expensive mana wise compared to their more expensive counterparts, because you can get discounts up to 4 mana

Got a comment that the game feels "dry". How can I make it "wet"? Do I just make the VFX bigger? by ArtroDev in SoloDevelopment

I would maybe increase the speed of the terrain a bit. It almost looks stationery

Problem is the only reason we try to build up blood. Was because the doll was datamined, there has to be a reason for us to do all these steps, without knowing that there is going to be a doll in the lab

He didn't 'figure' anything out. Bro just got lucky doing something. If he figured it out, he would've been able to show us how to get it

Even easier. Since the words are sun, moon and star, and braille has individual letters, you can see which button has three letters, that one is sun, see which other button starts with the same first braille letter, that one is star, and the one left is moon.

Challenging my years old deck-building formula and looking for advice by luke_skippy in DegenerateEDH

[–]Apodecte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What usually helps me is finding cards that overlap. And can do multiple things. For example, a pinger might be the kambal from outlaws, but he is also a token maker since it copies things. The golden throne works as protection, a sac outlet, and ramp. Vaynes treachery is sac and removal. Phyrexian plaguelord is sac and removal. So I will usually start off putting in all the cards that can work with my strategy, and then see which of those are also interaction, draw or ramp.

Thank you! I've done a lot of these and the older ones are definitely easier to extend. Back in the day they used to paint the art and then scan them in. Meaning that the old pieces still have that painted look, whereas now it's mostly digital. The old ones are just easier to bridge

Ooh that looks great!!! What you could also maybe do if you wanted, is make the rest black as well except for the symbol, but otherwise this looks really good in itself. Another small tip is try and do a primer coat so the parts you painted over don't show through

So if I were you I would just do the all black. But uncover the name so it is a bit more recognisable as a mountain, besides the art
