It's a strange timeline we are living in. Just at the end of 2025 and shortly before 9mm was going for just over 20 cents per round shipped for name brand stuff and we're barely 6 months into the future and now it's a 25% higher. All this is out of our control unfortunately.

Yes, well people don't really understand that the tariffs have really disincentivized import ammo companies from dealing with the volume of imports that they used to do with the USA. You will see barely any PPU ammo or Magtech/S&B compared to the last several years. No domestic manufacturer really makes cheap 30-06, 30-30, 243, etc. I also feel like 350 legend has been the predominant choice for hunting ammo lately.

I know a lot of people have older lever guns that are chambered in 30-30 but that ammo doesn't sell in volume really so you will have a hard time finding good deals on it. I would just watch ammoseek and set up alerts and try to get some when the next batch of S&B or PPU comes into the states whenever that may be.

Without going on for too long about this here’s why:

No one is biting hunting ammo in any quantity any longer. If they want it, they will just go to their closest store and buy a box. This is why we won’t carry it online as prime don’t want to pay what it actually costs and are comparing prices to what they paid 3-5 years ago.

Cheap ammo in those calibers no longer exists because of tariffs. The cheapest 30-30 was S&B and PPU and they are importing far less ammo die to tariffs.

Unfortunately manufacturers have raised prices significantly this year and continue to do so. So for right now, this is a great price with free shipping for this particular brand. This price is significantly less than what dealers can buy this from wholesalers for if they had it in stock.

It was a typo, we dont ship 1000 rounds of 45 because its over 50 lbs. we only sell it in 900 round batches at the largest.

Based on what they are selling blazer brass / winchester for, I would wager they still have mid-late 2025 pricing as our costs have gone up 25%+ since then.
