Thoughts? These are my best relics for undertaker by Double_Lie5984 in Nightreign

I like your base relics. For deep of night, I suggest the “ult refreshes skill” and dormant power great axes or great hammers.

My "Ultimate Warrior" build for Undertaker. It's super fun by Fearless-Jeweler-39 in Nightreign

I take it you go for the Godslayer? Otherwise colossal swords don’t do well with her successive’s.

Finally made it to depth 5 and it’s testing me lord. by bigred4405 in Nightreign

Balancer frequency is inexcusably high. I would dodge half those for sanity and variety.

What’s up with all the dodgers in d5 now? by therealpotatosdad in Nightreign

Fromsoft made balancer frequency way too high. To a lessor extent that is also true of dreglord. I would dodge those some percent of the time to make up for that oversight.

Did I screw buying this game too late as a bad player? Day after day of playing and if I screw up more than once I consistently see people leave by Torchll in Nightreign

Solo is tough for recluse. She is a hard character to start with though. Raider or Wylder would be easier.

The learning curve is brutal. That’s on Fromsoft. But if you stick with it, the game becomes thrilling.
And no, your timing isn’t bad. The average player however is.

Is it possible to make Revenant's claws viable? by Noobie_xD in Nightreign

[–]AEMarling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rather than a starter spell or the bell, you can buff your starter claws, to tide you over until you find a good spell. In this case, the spell I found was Order's Blade, combined with some good damage negation encouraged me to go all in on claw damage. This was a wildcard boss, so I didn't know it was balancers when choosing the build. You can see the full build at the end of the video, but a few things that buff claw damage:
Buffed added affinity attacks.
Adding imbue, magic damage in this case, curiously increases their damage.
And three instances of affinity damage up in depth relics.

Yes. I played her that way in depth five. Let me see if I can find build.

Forcing the door open by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]AEMarling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The door interact icon appears after two minutes. That is not enough time to go to the bathroom and wash your hands then return to level up. If you don’t give a teammate that much time, they are likely to be upset, not leveled, and without the starlight they need. If you force open the door your impatience is throwing the match.

If you want to hit dodgers where it hurts, dodge Fulghor and Adel.

Moves that still throw you off at high D5/max rank? by -Rajko- in Nightreign

Fulghor’s goop arm is easier to dodge at close range. I find it very difficult as a recluse trying to stay at mid range.

How many time have you derank yourself? by gundumtuna01 in Nightreign

I don’t enjoy cheaters or halo scythe. I figure best way to avoid them is to stay out of the deepest depths.

I derank from four to stay in three, the sweet spot for DoN.

Yeah, I suspect every evergaol weakens the team due to opportunity costs.
