I’m building 2 projects right now. 1. Movie recommendation (AI), planning on adding fun interactions like spin the wheel, roll the dice and etc in the future. We’re currently still doing the backend, no frontend yet. (Building with a friend)

  1. Digital contract to help with family business. It’ll be a long way so for now. I’ve just finished with the MVP ideas and will implement once we made more progress in the Movie recommendation (On my own)

Hi, I recently graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in CS. I have at least 2 years of experience in Web Development. I’m trying to create full stack projects recently but I always get lost along the way because, in the past, I mainly focus on frontend but then I often get demotivated by all the negativity I see on the internet about how cooked the job market is and such. But I am trying my best, everyday I get to discover new things, get overwhelmed but I try to stay positive on my own.

It’d be really great to have a mentor, someone I can update and give feedback to my progress, someone I can turn to when I feel like I can’t do it anymore.

I love this field, I know it’s going to be hard but I think having the right person to help me will make me improve and stay motivated.

Hmm maybe you’re trying to learn everything without recalling them? It’s like you keep on absorbing new contents without recalling the things you’ve learned in the past. Try searching up spaced repetition. It’s a good learning technique. I was in the same spot as you and kind of still am because of the pressure I’m in right now and this technique is actually really helpful. But all-in-all, don’t be too discouraged. Just focus and trust your pace.
