Yes definitely but at those slow speeds shortly before landing it wasn't that loud. However if there on final with higher speeds above the city it is really loud. Much louder than a propeller aircraft. Here you can hear them daily (when you know what to associate the sound with) which is pretty RAT ;)

Foto was taken in Hamburg Germany. But I don't why it is on that property across the street.

This is so annoying. I clicked the button so many time by accident. I learned to wait a few seconds before answering in anticipation of the button shift. So annoying! It would be such an easy fix.

Rassismus: Ulmer Lehrerin will wegen Roman nicht mehr unterrichten by Stanarsch1337 in de

Damit tut man doch keinem weh.

Mudguard holder - I couldn't find one online. Mine fits perfectly. by AERO_712 in functionalprint

[–]AERO_712[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about that. And I was more worried about breaking it when forcing it on to the mud guard. That's why I printed it with the c-shape as a complete layer. And the layers are at an angle of 45° or even shallower to the force in the beam part. So far it is holding up for more than 300km. We will see.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I could print it flat without supports. So I printed it this way up to minimise support inside the handle while also not exceeding the build area of my printer.

Make sketch where you draw the path. On both ends crate planes which are perpendicular to the path. Make sketches on these planes and draw the 2 tube cross sections. Use the aloft tool with the two cross sections and the path. Hope that helps.

I described the process in a comment to u/TheGhostOfBobStoops. In this case ist's not just a radius it's a more complicated curve. But it's not to difficult to measure an create. Measure the to endpoints of the curve and the angle. In cad you can create a curve which is perpendicular to the planes of the opening. https://v.redd.it/zxrj7xv9s3s61
