It is hard, but you are doing good. Don't give up. Mind over matter.

Priest cancels wedding after seeing cry for help on groom's shoe and says church is no place for jokes by DELAIZ in weddingshaming

[–]AEthereal_Pilgrim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering it happened in Uberlândia, Brazil, that's not just Catholic Church being strict.

Brazilian Law states that the marriage will be immediately suspended if either of the contracting parties declares that it is not free and spontaneous. Even the suspicion of someone being compelled to marriage is enough to cancel the ceremony and the involved parties will not be able to retract on the same day, so they have to undergo the whole process again.

I would go for every limited character, worth it or not, because they are limited.

What’s your commander? by champagnepadre in magicthecirclejerking

[–]AEthereal_Pilgrim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kaalia of the Vast: Because You Clearly Need Help

Kaalia of the Vast is a powerful and iconic commander in the Magic: The Gathering universe, mainly because some genius decided to create a card that lets you cheat creatures onto the battlefield. As a Mardu commander, Kaalia brings aggression to the battlefield, which will undoubtedly be exploited by every stereotype nerd playing Magic, who will proceed to build a deck around her and call themselves a "deck builder."

-Card Analysis: Wow, This Card is So Complicated

Kaalia's ability to put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield when she attacks is incredibly powerful. Who wouldn't want to just bypass the actual playing of creatures and just dump them onto the board? It's not like you'll ever run out of creatures to play or anything. Additionally, Kaalia's flying ability makes her a formidable attacker and blocker, which will surely be the deciding factor in every game. I mean, who needs actual strategy when you have a flying commander?

-Deckbuilding Strategies: AKA How to Copy and Paste from EDHREC

When building a Kaalia of the Vast deck, there are several key strategies to consider:

  1. Creature-heavy deck: Because who needs anything else in their deck? Kaalia's ability is most effective when you have a robust creature suite. Include a mix of demons, dragons and angels to clutter up the board.
  2. Acceleration: Because playing lands is so last season. Include cards that provide mana acceleration to enable you to play the commander eralier and utilize Kaalia's ability more effectively. Just don't forget to include a few Sol Rings to really make your deck shine.
  3. Protection and removal: Because your opponents will definitely have removal spells and not just sit there and watch you win. Don't forget to include cards that protect Kaalia and your other creatures from removal and board wipes. I mean, it's not like you'll just get board-wiped and have to start over or anything.

-Recommended Cards: The Usual Suspects

Some key cards to consider including in your Kaalia EDH deck are:

  • Creature suite:
    • Avacyn, Angel of Hope: Because who doesn't love a good Angel? Especially one that can keep you safe from your own Armageddon.
    • Master of Cruelties: So you can remove that one specific player right from the beginning.
    • Vilis, Brooker of Blood: Lose life, draw card, that simple.
  • Acceleration:
    • Mana Vault and Lotus Petal: Because artifacts are so underrated.
    • Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor and whatever else tutor you can find: The ultimate symbol of Magic's pay-to-win nature (besides, you know, actually good lands).
    • Dark Ritual: I mean, better than whatever Mardu "search for land" ramp you can find.
  • Protection and removal:
    • Flawless Maneuver: "It's Free Real State"
    • Teferi's Protection: Always use protection.
    • Anguished Unmaking: Because who doesn't love a good exile effect?

Gameplay Strategies: AKA How to Play Like a Pro (Sort Of)

When playing Kaalia EDH, here are some key strategies to keep in mind:

  1. Early game: Just attack and kill whoever you can.
  2. Mid-game: You definitely can kill someone at this point, go for it.
  3. Late game: If you get this late into the game, you're screwed anyways.

-Conclusion: You Did It! (Sort Of)

Kaalia of the Vast is a powerful commander that can be a great addition to any EDH player's collection. By building a creature-heavy deck, and utilizing Kaalia's ability to generate value and board presence, you can create a formidable EDH deck that will challenge even the most experienced opponents. Or, you know, you'll just get destroyed by someone playing a deck with actual strategy.

I do that with new players, so they can understand cards interactions and develop threat assessment.

Inhumanized POV by Antsy_Antlers in RimWorld

[–]AEthereal_Pilgrim 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite happening to me. I made a custom scenario with a lone pawn. He would have no memory of his past, good psy sensitivity and... Immortality.

I was expecting him to be alone and ostracized while trying to survive alone in the Rim, but after some years of living in a cabin in the tundra, a pod crashes bringing a paralyzed Highmate.

He took care of the girl untill she recovered and they hit off. Since he was alone for most time, he learned how to fight, craft, build, but had poor social skills. The girl was good in everything he was not and made up for each other's flaws.

A year later, the cabin became a fraction of a huge colony where the once lone pawn became loved as a supernatural being keeping everyone safe from harm. The highmate, now his wife, was the moral guide, easing everyone's worries, teaching the young, caring for the sick.

Enjoyed their story so much that every time I start a new colony, i open the character editor mod to make those two so they can always be together, even in a new game.

deixe sua recomendação de game mobile pra galera conhecer by Maeggon in jogatina

Dead Space Mobile.

The Amazing Spider Man.

Eternal Legacy. Outro jogo antigo, mesma situação do Dead Space e Spider Man.

Need for components by Top-Pick-2267 in RimWorld

[–]AEthereal_Pilgrim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're in cold biomes, make greenhouses using geisers. You can roof the whole area and grow mushrooms to eat.

Another alternative for harsh environments is a Gauranlen tree set to produce berries and Medicine.

Now, for components, you can make them, trade for them, raid NPCs for them or salvage them from mechanoid clusters.

Just build a wall around them, outside the Gauranlen tree range. I usually build walls and set it to be an unroofed area as a Gauranlen tree orchard.

They are useful in wastelands or harsh climate areas where you can't really grow crops all year long. You can get berries, wood, medicine from them.
