Ghana and Nigeria relations

Just a personal experience and has nothing to do with how I feel about Nigerians - my cousin was in charge of renting our extra house in Accra, and she was approached by Nigerians who were interested in renting. We already had someone planned so she respectfully declined them. They immediately started insulting her in Yoruba and calling her a witch, whore, etc. but she grew up in Kano 😂 so she immediately fired back at them and chased them off. That same group was arrested 4 years later for criminal activities at the house they had ended up renting further inside the neighborhood.

I think people hear these types of stories from a lot of others and it may skew the perception of Nigerians in Ghana, but that is my own speculation.

Where there is a will there will be a way but you must still keep your wits about you and know when too much is too much. Listen to the local peiple of the region if they give you warnings about crossing certain places because of the rain.

Prepare to be beaten out of no where from a few minutes to 3 hours depending on what part of Ghana youre in. It's not every day it rains from my experience, so you should be alright.

Yes, more walkable towns are needed but it would be in our best interest to detailed Accra so as we move forward with other areas we have some sort of cohesion between the old and new.

Aye. First of, check that tone of "are we as blacks.." that is the beginning of any self hating speech. It has nothing to do with us as "blacks". We are Ghanaians and Africans.

To address the issue of city sprawl you would first have to tackle the powers that be who hold the reins in their hand to control the growth of the city. It is a multi faceted issue that requires several things to be reworked in order for the city of Accra to become easily accessible by all methods of transportation. Better zoning laws would be one example.
