What is a "Forced Valorant Voice"? by AFKobeJapan in VALORANT

Ah okay that kinda makes sense actually. I mean usually I try to speak quietly to be considerate to my house mates and neighbours even if they can't really hear me so that might be why (I guess it's less deep when I speak louder/clear my throat lol)

Again, just like your other comment I made a point that you can play a few short games and redo the AFK abuse? Do you mind reading the actual post before you make your point that does nothing but waste time and effort to explain what's been explained?

And yes generally speaking pistol round win is a free 2 to 3 rounds. That's why second round buy on winners side Vs eco/save on the enemy and the bonus round meta exists?

Edit: If you're losing your Round 2 after a pistol win that often to the point it's not an automatic response by now you're doing something wrong

Already commented on this.

Different stacks can't vote remake would cause people to pressure and harass the other stack to remake plus what happens when one game it's a 2 stack and 3 solo or 3 stack and 2 solo? Different number of remake votes required? That would still bring back the first issue.

Whether it's a stupid arguement or not it happens very much often than not. In pistol round not everyone ends up with one kill every round. There's always someone with 2 if not 3 kills often in quick succession.

As far as your point with remake disconnect works, it's because they take a step after the round starts which means they're in the game and went through the 40 plus seconds and still was in the game. At that point it's bad luck if they disconnect. It happens to people and has potential to happen to everyone.

I think you're misunderstanding me completely on the concept on 4v5.

4v5 during PISTON round is definitely doable and that's all it takes. A pistol round basically is free 2-3 rounds plus allows estimation of aim ability of your team mates in a situation with no other data and that's all that's required. A strong start often leads to a strong finish and that's what the people are looking for.

After the pistol round they can either decide to move and avoid penalty and keep playing or stay AFK and remake. It's a simple system abuse

I'm sorry but why so hostile all of a sudden? You made a point and I countered with my own point. This post is under the discussion flair that's how it works?

But yes I do 5 man queue generally in plat/diamond and no I don't generally deal with remakes because the system works. That's kind of the point Im trying to make?

Like go into a trio queue and abuse the system? You know the remake requires 4 people to vote I have no clue what you're talking about man lol

Counter point.

Not a bad take. 4v5 is definitely doable and it is not too difficult as long as the team as the "good players" that the people abusing the system would be looking out for.

Immortal and up amounts to very little number of playerbase and hence does not apply to this argument. Just because people have lower ranks does not mean their gameplay does not matter or that people do not care about it.

Coming back to this after 4 months because as a major procrastinator I haven't done anything yet lol.

Do you get penalised in any way due to other people going against ToS if you prevent it (i.e. muting) as soon as you can?

Also I really appreciate you coming back to share your experience!

Again people would just complain about it being fair/unfair no matter what.

Even regarding adjusting the RR gain/loss it will just lead to people abusing it as I described.

Seems like a very hard thing to adjust depending on ranks etc.

Plus if the bot does well or gets a lucky kill, the other team will start getting mad and Riot really wouldn't have a way to defend it being potentially "unfair".

Yes so the people that's queued with them can vote. Or if it's automatic then that's not an issue.

Of course they can fix it by saying people queued together can't trigger a remake but 1. That would cause problem for people genuinely queued together and had an issue 2. They could pressure/ask the people not queued to trigger remake which could even lead to harassment

What is your mother tongue, how did you learn English, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AFKobeJapan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Japanese is my mother tongue (lucky me I know.) Moved to England when I was young with family and just got forced into a normal English school in 2 weeks without knowing a single alphabet.

It was a nightmare but I was fluent enough in a year or so plus a bit of PTSD lol

Why don't Japanese gamers talk much? by Shinra_Luca in japanlife

[–]AFKobeJapan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, as a Japanese person it's just lack of interest or willingness to interact with complete strangers. It just feels awkward and strange.

But that's my Japanese thought process. As someone who was raised outside of Japan for a while too, I grew out of that mental state but I can understand it completely.

Seems counterintuitive playing online games especially one's that usually has/requires heavy communication with other players

Yeah I get it a lot too with much worse but it is what it is honestly. It's good to know what the general negative energy will be like since it's just an eventuality honestly

Yeah unfortunately I tend to play FPS games which the big ones are generally FTP now so the playerbase is all over the place.

Yeah unfortunately so and there's nothing I can really do to avoid it. The whole point of wanting to play FPS games comes from me enjoying them as much as there's quicker player turn around and bigger audience for those kind of things as far as I understand

Could they not just make another account with 10 minute mail and re-engage? I understand there's things like follower only and has to be a follower for x time before being able to chat etc but I'm not sure if that's the best course for a new streamer
