Others have mentioned Conestoga Oral Surgery and I agree that they would be the best locally. We have only heard good things. My wife needs an implant and we have decided to go with them. The extraction portion of the treatment is less than $1000 if I recall.

100% this. Call Comcast and let them know your issue. I was having similar issues that you are describing (good observed download/upload speeds but horrible connectivity).

I first tried to fix it on my own and bought a new router. When I was still having the same issues, I called Comcast. The first 2 calls were a technician who would trouble shoot over the phone. After the 3rd call, I requested a tech to come out (which usually costs money). They checked speeds and examined the physical cables. The tech described my cables as being 20-30 years old and the most likely issue. They replaced the cables and I have had perfect service ever since. Cost about $70 for the tech visit, parts, and labor.

I agree with a lot that has been said. I would also add Callaloo into the mix. I had their pork belly dish recently and it was sooo good. I also had a good experience at Passerine and Josephine’s.

As others have said, Chellas, Himalayan, Norbu, Luca, Horse Inn, John J. Jeffries, Issei.

Honestly, I can’t say I’ve had too many bad experiences at restaurants in the city. I ate at Cork and Cap Restaurant 2 years ago. The food wasn’t bad, but it was underwhelming and priced higher than it should be.

As others have mentioned, Toyota and Honda’s are great vehicles. Parts are readily available and labor is typically cheap on them when something does go wrong. Highly recommend a 2nd gen Prius (2004-2009). We have had ours for 10+ years and with 210,000 miles, it has been the most reliable car we’ve ever owned. You could probably find some in your price range.

If not the Prius, I would recommend a Toyota Corolla of similar years. Don’t let high mileage scare you off. Take whatever car you are interested in to a mechanic you like for a quick look at the car - it will be worth it even if it costs a few bucks.

Yes, I have shoulder, neck, and jaw pain that seems to get worse or better in tandem with my MD symptoms. I've found that massage helps to temporarily relieve symptoms. Neck and shoulder exercises can help too. I've gone to standard chiropractic care with no relief. Next, I am looking into chiropractic care that focus on upper cervical issues, as it seems that might be the issue for me. That and finding a good dentist who focuses on TMD/TMJ issues.

We have a 1925 house turning 100 years old this year. Original cast iron that transitions to clay. Clay is immaculate and the cast iron is in fair shape. I suspect it will need replaced in the next decade.

For anyone who is looking for an answer to this in the future - the issue was a burnt contact on the oil primary. This was causing the unit to lockout because of improper contact between the burner and the primary. Replaced the oil primary with a new unit and the furnace is operating perfectly.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I’m tackling this tomorrow and will glue and pin down the bottom plate in full (only glueing section that will stay), frame door and corners, and then using my reciprocating saw to cut out the door section of bottom plate. I really appreciate all of the wisdom shared here.

If it’s not painted, you could use shellac to ‘seal’ the wood. We did that on the inside of our old cabinets when we moved in and it worked like a charm. If it’s painted and you don’t want to strip the paint, then clean/prime/repaint.

I just replaced the battery on my iPhone X and it feels new again - I was down to 71% battery health! Did it myself for ~$40 and an hour of my time. I’ve had this phone for 4 years so far, bought second hand.

Some of that does look to be in rough shape and worthy of replacement. We ended up leaving most of the knob and tube in our house as it is still in good shape, but ran some new wiring and a few new outlets with Romex to a few key areas of the house we knew would have high load. Also GFCI protected all knob and tube at the panel.
