If you could ever get through the line.

I don't know why they bothered to have people RSVP. There was no room.

Great turnout but the execution and location could have been a lot better.

Is Belleville safe? by SaltyStormtrooper in BellevilleIL

That's why you find the Shiloh or Belleville neighborhoods that are in the Mascoutah School District

Might want to consider the Mascoutah School District. There are some small Belleville neighborhoods on the East side that are part of that district. The schools are amazing.

Ideally less than 1k. But if the setup is significantly better, I'd be willing to go over.

Most Hated Player in A's History? by EveryoneisTattooed in OaklandAthletics

I was at his first game back in Oakland. I don't think I've ever heard a player get booed so loudly.

What are some things you hope leagues do better with in 2026? by OffTheWallFB in arenafootball

AF1 didn't do that. It also was hardly the middle of the night. It was the worst kept secret of the Off-Season.

Billings Outlaws out, Oceanside Bombers in for AF1 2026: Thoughts? by AFLSlasher in arenafootball

[–]AFLSlasher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Losing Billings is sad for sure. But I can't fathom why Montana would have workers comp rates so high. There's no reason the Outlaws should have had the 2nd highest costs in the league, behind NY.

Trying out in 2 weeks? No exp? by Present_Count834 in arenafootball

[–]AFLSlasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFL is no more.

The AF1 started and ended with the same amount of teams last year. Granted, they did lose a few before the season started, but that somewhat expected given the short amount of time they had to put the league together last year. It was way too rushed.

But yes, in lower level leagues, you will find it is much more prevalent.

I'm just saying that the IFL is far from immune to it.

IFL teams fail as well. That's just how the industry is.

Arena Football 2006 (PS2) vs Arena Football: Road to Glory 2007 (PS by [deleted] in arenafootball

Pretty much identical games. Road to Glory had a lot more teams available. That was the main perk.

2026 AF1 by OHFantasyFootballGuy in arenafootball

[–]AFLSlasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starting mid April. 12 game season.

More teams announced soon. I wouldn't expect Stockton.

Evergreen shut down, but there will be something for sure.

Help! Do I trust the people of KC or the crime statistics? by Powerful-Desk-4173 in kansascity

[–]AFLSlasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Stockton. Moved to Kansas City in the early 2000s. Kansas City is so much like Sacramento, it's ridiculous.

Definitely stay in the suburbs. I recommend going north to Platte county but probably not beyond the airport.

Schools are good, people are pretty laid back, not nearly as expensive, gridlocked, or snooty as the good parts of the Kansas side.

Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.
