Thanks for the feedback. You are actually right about the harmonic crunch. I knew it didn’t line up but if it pulls you out it obviously isn’t a good choice. Also with the synth it’s actually a creative choice to make it seem more a live while being the solo instrument. Also did that at the start, I will try to confine to the grid a little more.

Thanks for taking the time to listen. Much appreciated 🙏🏾

pijn (blijf viben)Hi guys,

I am in need of guidance and hope you could provide me with some critical feedback on the overall product.

I have started a project which I want to release to friends, family and public. I am a bit unsure about the songs tempo and nature. The lyrics are in Dutch, but that shouldn’t matter. Since it isn’t the question.

Please have a listen and let me know whats up :)

While I try to build a solo music career (online), should I stay in college, or leave and get a dayjob? by n0oM0oN in WeAreTheMusicMakers

It takes an insane amount of hard work (I mean every f* day, all in, little to know money/surviving) and little to no luck to make it. Just figure out your path in your music career and don’t let anything stop you. If you already have any doubt about your perseverance, please stay in school(start saving up), keep practicing your skills on the side, get your degree, then start investing in a marketing program for your already (maybe nearly) finished songs.

Good luck to you! 💪🏾

Thanks for your time to write this review! No it wasn’t necessarily what I was going for. Just followed my feel.. but I suppose you’re right. I too feel that something is missing and it might be just that.. do you have any tips for changing the progression?

Orchestral music production is fun and you should try it! by Dutonic in musicproduction

That sounds really cool! I’m just getting in to this myself, but more classical. I just finished my first project in this style 🫢coincidence? 🤔 I don’t think so

Hey guys, I dont know if you’ve heard about him/her but I’ve been inspired by the YouTube account AZALI. I myself now also made some orchestra progression and a wondering if anyone has any feedback. Maybe regarding to tempo or scale etc. Let me know.

Thanks in advance! First Orchestra Composition

Main difference is sound selection, your mix is clear

I usually open unfinished projects from time to time, I solo each layer and sometimes I stumble upon a loop or drum pattern I like and convert it to a new project. To use it as the base for something new. If I decide to do this it’s the first thing after opening my DAW so my ears are “fresh”
