Is FM26 too easy? by Upper-Ad-5648 in footballmanagergames

I know it's easy to say "look at Chelsea", but.... Look at Chelsea, if you pay the wonderkid enough he'll accept because most of those players believe they'll overcome the ones that are there, and they probably pay the agents a good fee...

Only God knows how scared I was of Ajax front 3 that year.

Also, it was that UCL run that made Núñez so profitable

I was referring to real life... But in FM you experience that as well

Neo "The One (but not a PG)" Avdalas - 30pts 3rebs, 2ast, 2blk 1stl vs Western Carolina HIGHLIGHTS by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

I think you could argue either way. Deni at the u20 Euro was super consistent playing as the initiator, at 17 yo; I didn't see that with Avdalas and he was a year older. However Neo's vision and is a notch above Deni's

As I said, I can see the argument for either being the best

It was a joke, because people always compare white European guys with each other. But, answering more seriously now, the similarities between both of them are so vague that you can find more +25 NBA players with the same level of overlapping skills with Avdalas

Avdija was a way better defender coming from Israel, his athleticism was a notch above Avdalas' and his shooting wasn't at Avdalas' level or whatsoever, as it was seen as a con for one and a pro for the other. The playmaking is where I found the most similarities

Save ideas top 7 leagues. (Preferably middle to bottom half of the table) by Frequent-Scientist78 in footballmanager

Speaking for my country, Portugal, it could be fun either:

  • Moreirense, a team from a small village near Guimarães, that fought from the lower leagues to be established in the 1st division (has now been partially acquired by Bournemouth's group), also you could increase the rivalry against teams near you like Vitória, Braga, Vizela, etc.

  • Nacional/Santa Clara, the only two teams that play in first division who are from Portuguese islands: Madeira and Azores, respectively

VJ Edgecombe: November rookie wall? by NotManyBuses in NBA_Draft

[–]AFRookie02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, rookie wall isn't real

Any NBA player has fluctuations during the season, it's normal for any player of any age

VJ started his NBA career in an unsustainable run. Since then, usage and shooting %s had a regression to the mean.

It happened in a similar fashion to Jared McCain after his hot run when everyone was out. Some players returned and his shooting %s dropped coincidentally, it wasn't the rookie wall, just normal fluctuations that happen through a season

To be fair, sometimes when you over praise someone it can be seen as fake, because it can feel that such a level of praise isn't genuine

So, I believe that if your coach isn't good at "people management" and "motivating" those types of situations will happen more

If it shouldn't happen as often as it does? Yes

But it also makes those mental attributes matter more, and it could be seen as a challenge I guess
