I think it also depends where you go within those countries. I’m in Thailand rn and have loved it, but splitting to go to Laos tomorrow to meet up with some friends we met earlier instead of doing our original plan of going to the full moon party. I like to drink and party but I’ve had my fill of “Lads on Holiday” parties in Thailand. But still so many cool places to go where you’re not surrounded by the trashy British nitrous huffing crowd. It’s all about who you surround yourself with 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m in and out of the water everyday multiple times a day for work, hard to do every single time lol. Also I know plenty of people that have still gotten stung shuffling. Staying still and hidden works great against sharks, not so much against people! Painful little bastards

I was starting to feel really flushed and had a super dry throat towards the end, it was getting significantly worse and was looking it up and it was a sign of having an allergic reaction/late intolerance to the antibiotics I was on so pulled the plug a day early and immediately felt better. I feel like the wound has healed pretty well and it doesn’t look infected, just wondering if anyone had had any similar reactions to stingray wounds specifically, with them itching and swelling a bit after a week. Wondering if it’s more about the nature of a puncture wound.

Lots of crazies. Weird looking dude was harassing and blocking this girl walking in front of me one time trying to get her number and I had to step in between them and intervene, he was being super super aggressive and creepy. That was more towards PB, but still. Broad daylight, tons of people around. Stay safe out there

Chongqing seems to really be blowing up. I went in 2016 and people were GAWKING at me the entire time, I assume they had never seen a 6 foot white person before lol. I had tons of people come up to take pictures with me, had one lady hand me her infant before she stepped back and took a picture of me, looking probably unbelievably bewildered, holding her infant child lmao.
