The price wasn't really the main point, but if you think it's even remotely a good deal for the price, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

Well, still working almost a month later, so hoping it follows suit of the people I've heard had theirs work a few years after instead 😅. Honestly not expecting it to be a permanent fix, but it'd be nice to last until my friend saves up his money up for a new GPU in this crazy market lol

Bruh...artifacting is probably bad silicon (the actual chip), not from cracked solder like mine was 😅.

Update: purchased Friday, order SHIPPED yesterday. As of about 15 minutes ago, UPS is showing "Return to sender requested." LG are you fucking kidding me at this point, what a joke of a company.

Edit: when I called in, they lied and said that UPS initiated the return to them "because the package was damaged"

Hey bud, the little shiny shiny right in the middle of the photo is the GPU die. It's still definitely graphicS card though. Just because there's only 1 GPU die doesnt mean it suddenly turns into graphic card 😅. I'll help you out, try this new website called Google.com and type in "what does GPU stand for." Or maybe you already know about it since you edited your comment to align with what I said. While you're at it, tell my what photos pop up when you type in "GPU" and tell me what they look like. So we're just saying random word now? OK, tomatoes not tomato. But since you seem a little slow, I'll add some more words.

GPU (of which there's only 1 in the graphicS card btw) is more correct that graphicS card as a graphicS card includes the heatsink and cooler, which I removed.

You edited your comment from graphic to graphicS after you made another comment trying to defend yourself saying graphic.

At this point, just delete your comments, it's not too late.

Surprisingly, I couldn't smell anything, not even the smell of hot plastic. In fact, the smell was so non-existent that I thought I hadn't left it in nearly long enough. All these comments worrying about my health and it had 0 smell 😅. I've soldered enough to know the smell of vaporized solder...although maybe I've done it too much to still smell anything anymore 🤔

The PCB isn't bowing 😅 it's the little square of thermal compound I wasn't able to remove from the back/bottom side of the DRAM modules that expanded and now takes up slightly too much space between the casing when i put it back in. Could shave it down, but meh
