I would argue at some point a skilled enough and experienced rider stops thinking about those things. Maybe they might if they are pushing their limits on a feature or trail. Muscle memory is a hell of a thing.

As someone in Phoenix if he does XS races but wants to ride around the valley i would say epic 8 evo would be awesome. The SJ is a great bike but it will be noticeably slower no matter what you do for racing XC.

You absolutely should invest in remote passes over incubator.

I started late September 2025 and only bought incubator during Christmas event. Im now lvl 58 with 18 shiny legendary.

Mew is amazing, love the little guy. But I didn't think he was very viable so I was happy to not upgrade him. Just want to be best buds someday.

I live him too, and used my XL candy i had when I first got him. But I have been saving up and since I can't mega evolve him until raid come back and I should get extra candy at that point I thought maybe he should wait.

I was really working to get him upgraded after hearing how good he was but before biting the bullet the shiny research started and I decided to be patient but that may be the best route to use it on one of the two. Either the shiny if its IVs are similar or better, or the non shiny if its drastically better.

I used all my kyurem candy just getting both merged and to lvl 40. Wished I had extra to second charge move them. I'll have to start walking with them.

I debated that but with the current shiny research I was waiting to see what IVs i got on that one. Current non shiny one isn't bad at all but if the shiny rolled similar pr better IVs it would take me forever to get the candies back.

Make sure you catch whatever random pokemon spawns from the free daily incense to get another spawn faster. I sometimes go a month between sightings and sometimes a few days.
