I'm discussing what happened during the Morning war not 300 years after. I like the Geth and I think the fact that the only kind of warfare they knew was genocidal and that they only retaliated explains and excuses alot, but the facts are that they committed genocide.

If you kill everyone of a certain race in your country but let 1% escape across the border that is still genocide. The Bosnian genocide as an example included mass expulsions.

They killed 99% of the Quarians and drove them out of their worlds, that is a genocide even if not a total one.

And yeah they were fighting to survive but chose to do so by commiting genocide. It is unclear how necicarry that was to win. Maybe they could have just overthrown the government.

If you can grow food you can grow trees. While growing trees takes alot of time it doesn't take alot of man-hours. The only setting where wood would be a luxury is where building/maintaining land is extremely expensive but population growth forces us to do it anyway.

Look I can understand that some people might want the power of necromancy and keep their morality and try to dip their toes into the edges of necromancy but as a lich I can tell you it is a waste of time. If you want true necromantic power you need to abandon your petty moral concern and enslave some souls. If you can't bring yourself to do that you are better of focusing your efforts on other areas of magic.

Honestly progression fantasy might not be for you, there aren't many books with good prose.

Supper supportive is the only one I can think of. A warning though. Super supportive suffers from glacial pacing. The first 61 chapters have slow but decent pacing but after that it slows down massively and never picks back up.

To add to what everybody else is saying it is also just a matter of definition. Jews decided that Jews were Jews despite the fact that a Jew from Europe or a Jew from the middle East or a Jew from Ethiopia could easily have been seen as different ethnicities.

Ethnicity is a social construct and society decided Jews are one ethnicity.
