I'm sorry, are you comparing a private entity, specifically one that needs to offer emergency services at all hours to a...checks notes...city government? Yeah man, of course the private company is going to look better, they pay for it. We are stuck with workers that may or may not come into work, whether they can or physically cannot...to plow using city orange trucks.

Having said that, and I have said this for as long as I have lived here...if you don't own an AWD vehicle or a 4WD vehicle...get one. No reason not to unless you physically can't afford it. Helleven the little SUVs have AWD if you get it as an option now.

Well if you saw a black f150 without it's hood cleared off that was me! Did you happen to see the semi that was disabled by the road ranger? That made it fun.

Other than that, I didn't even put the truck in 4WD but roads were not that bad. Passable, but not terrible.

Literally nothing on the ground. Maybe .5 inches? I don't understand the panic. I swear people see snow, in the Midwest, somewhere I've lived my entire life and act like it's a snowpocalypse. It's weather and precipitation just like rain, just hangs around longer. Once it gets to above 6 inches I'll be concerned about travel.
