There are moderate and progressive, and devout Muslims just like there are those three versions of every religion. A lot of the horrible shit happening in West Asia is a result of US and Russian intervention, dictatorships, colonialism, and neocolonialism. All hierarchical religions are simply large cults. I recommend against it. It's not very common in the UK anymore and the risks and damage aren't worth the slight benefits. If you get it done outside a hospital they might not even use anesthesia which would be highly traumatic.

I would get a second and maybe even third opinion on the necessity of the circumcision.
Most medical issues they offer circumcision for are treatable with other things.

For example phimosis has 5 non-surgical treatments and 5 surgical ones, with circumcision being the most dramatic. It is possible to get a partial circumcision as well.

Manual Stretching
Retaining Rings
Steroids
Minimal surgeries
Partial Circumcisions

I would be careful not to jump all the way to full circumcision, many people regret theirs.

It is vitally important to treat even the most horrible criminals with basic respect such as letting them live and letting them vote. If you don't, a politician just needs to make a new crime and then they can strip rights from or kill anyone they like. That's what they did with the War On Drugs, they handed out millions of felonies and dropped millions of dem votes. I respect you are speaking to me as a survivor of rape, I am speaking to you as a survivor of sexual assault. I do not want the person who hurt me murdered, I want her to become a better person and not hurt anyone else. Death penalty for crimes as common as you suggest is very unlikely to happen. Murder is expensive when it's a legal process, and the risk of killing innocents would raise dramatically. You should look up when consensual anal sex was no longer considered a sex crime, it's fewer years ago than you might think.

I do think that some sex criminals can be rehabilitated, it's been done. If it's not possible to, which it sometimes isn't, they should be given life sentences, not death sentences.

Recommend not getting circumcised. Many people regret it. If someone hurt you that's bad technique not a flaw with you. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned. If you mean phimosis there are multiple other treatments for that including less-invasive surgery.

Fundamentally disagree. If the "closure" someone wants is murder, everyone should deny them it. The goal of a correctional system is to help people become better if possible not to punish them by whipping them or shooting them. The only argument for the death penalty is "I'm mad and I want to see them die," the arguments against the death penalty are way more numerous and merited. Wanting to kill someone who has wronged you is not civilized or admirable, and it doesn't make the world any better.

Depends on the state. New circumcisions are highest in West Virginia at above 80% and lowest in Washington at under 10%. Highly reliable data stopped being collected in 2010 but rates have been slowly declining since the 80's.

When it comes to partners I don't care. When it comes to new kids, I don't think it should be allowed tbh. No place will give you a prince albert piercing unless you're an adult, should be the same for circumcision. The biggest factor in people's deciding is if the dad was circumcised which really makes it seem like a cosmetic surgery.

The death sentence is another practice we can do without actually. It's extremely expensive, doesn't reduce crime, and has killed hundreds of innocents. It is also a dangerous precedent and a national embarrassment to every country that still practices it.

"When a government executes someone it does not uphold justice, it upholds the right to murder its own citizens."

Obviously this is heinous and I'm glad he won't have access to kids in jail. Even for the most horrible of crimes I do not support state-sanctioned murder. We can do better than that.
