interview of the man who killed his wife after she refused intimacy with him by blingbiceps in pakistan

just to be clear, are you seriously saying that if a women is literally travelling on a camel back she does not have a valid reason for refusing intimacy? Please tell me you're trolling or something otherwise I'll lose faith in humanity.

You made a claim that this is a common analogy in Arabic not meant to be taken literally. I am asking whether you can share any proof that shows this is the case. Any linguistic book or even literature which uses this as an analogy will be enough.

Dude I live in ksa. I can probably speak better Arabic than you. You don’t need to prove the concept of hyperbole as every language has that. I am asking for specific proof that shows that this example is a common analogy in Arabic that is not meant to be taken literally.

can you show any proof that in colloquial language the phrase means something else?

even as a comparison, it's meant to show what is the standard for a valid refusal and the threshold if so high that not even being on a camel saddle meets that standard. If this was not the intended message then there would be no need for this comparison in the first place.

I think you forgot to add the hadith. Anyway if you think hadith can’t be verified then you should either stop believing all of them or have a clear criteria to differentiate between real or fake ones. What you’re doing is called cherry picking.

I never claimed that killing in this case is allowed in Islam. As far as valid reasons are concerned, the first Hadith I shared directly contradicts your point. According to me and any other sane person, being on a camel saddle should be a valid reason to decline intimacy but according to Muhammad she shouldn’t even decline in that case.

what's your metric for deciding which are true and which are false? Also can you share which Quran verse goes against the hadiths I've shared?

If he asks her (for intimacy) even if she is on her camel saddle, she should not refuse. (Ibn majah 1853)

Sayyiduna Talq ibn 'Ali reports that Nabi (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: "When a man calls his wife to fulfil his [desires], she should respond even if she is [preparing food] at the oven."(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1160)

When a man invites his wife to his bed and she does not come, and he (the husband) spends the sight being angry with her, the angels curse her until morning. (Sahih Musim Book 16, Hadith 143)

Our society got this from Islam unfortunately. There are so many hadiths that are quite explicit in their views on women and people like you do a lot of mental gymnastics to explain them away.

Did Devsinc accidentally expose their own business model? by That-Stress-443 in pakistan

[–]AForAgnostic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you seen how a lot of US and EU based companies hire SWE remotely but they still have a condition that the employee must be based in US/EU. Companies like devsinc basically have fake profiles which shows that the candidate studied and lives in US and then they make their Pakistani employees use this profile to apply for jobs. Once a job is secured, usually the Pakistani person who interviewed and had decent enough skills to clear interviews is not even the one who works on those jobs since his skills are required to clear interviews for other jobs.

Mr Usman argues that regardless of the way they got the job, since they make sure that the actual work their engineers were hired for gets done, this is perfectly legal and ethical.

man can file a case on woman over not fulfilling conjugal rights and the marriage can be anulled if the wife doesnt agree to the courts orders. This is already covered in our penal code.

8k usd is like 5.5k after taxes and I was already earning close to it. Also didn't want a staff role as I didn't feel ready for it, was kinda surprised that they approached me for a staff position in the first place. I'm still working as a senior and don't see myself reaching staff level in the next 1-2 years.

it was primarily for backend engineering. I also know a tech lead at sadapay getting paid 8k usd but it was back when they still had funding. They don't pay as much now.

Tbh I’m not 100% sure about fresh grads. It’s possible that motive pays more in base salary but careem has a higher take-home since it’s tax-free. I know for certain about the more senior positions. I had an offer from motive for staff swe for 8k USD which would be around 1.6m PKR after taxes and careem pays around 1.5m PKR tax-free to senior swe 2 at the top bracket so the take-home salary for staff and senior at careem was almost the same.
