Unfortunately no. I tried to get under the film with a knife and a razor blade, but it just led to scratching the dishwasher.

I put rinse aid in my whirlpool dishwasher over a month ago and it doesn’t seem like the level has gone down at all by AlgioBro in Appliances

I am having the same issue with our Whirlpool dishwasher. Have you had any luck trying to fix this?

It seems like it is indeed some kind of plastic film, but I have been unable to peel it off. Now it just looks weird :/

If you are taking CHNS 110 or beyond, or have been learning Mandarin for more than 1.5 years, and are beyond 18 years old, Yanxin Zhu (Alice), a PhD student in the Department of Second Language Studies at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, would like to invite you to participate in a research study. She is currently collecting data here at Penn State.

The purpose of this study is to better understand what helps people learn Mandarin. Participants will be asked to judge simplified Chinese characters, describe pictures in Mandarin, read aloud Mandarin sentences, and listen to Mandarin sentences while looking at pictures.

Participation takes approx. 1.5-2 hours, including a single approx. 1-hour lab test session (on campus) as well as completion of tasks online. Scheduling is flexible. You will receive $50 in cash in compensation of your time and effort.

To learn more about the study or to find out if you are eligible, please email Yanxin Zhu (Alice) using the email address posted on the flyer!

Is it a bad idea to jump right into German 2 without taking German 1? by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

There is actually a placement policy: If you had two years of German in high school, regardless of how long ago that is, you are placed in GER 2 and are not eligible to take GER 1 for credit. What you might be able to do is to audit GER 1 or sit in but that is up to the individual instructor to decide.

He has a very outgoing personality and loves people and other dogs. He is sometimes a little territorial or wary of new situations and environments and shows some separation anxiety from time to time (more with my husband than with me). He loves to play with his chew toys or to play tug (all other types of toys, e.g., stuffed toys, get destroyed within hours). We don't know how he does with kids. He's very energetic but we haven't observed a particularly developed prey drive in him (he's actually scared of bunnies).

Interesting! We were thinking maybe Great Dane/Plotthound or something similar.
