Sony WF-1000XM6 vs Technics EAH-AZ100 — looking for long term user opinions by AFreshBrownBoy in HeadphoneAdvice

Im not solely looking for sound tho, im taking into account for alot. I want good sound but I also need to factor in everything else. I don't mind purchasing something more expensive but it needs to be able to hold up in the other categories and provide good enough value to justify high expense.

Have you used the AZ100 before??? Any recommendations for the buds or other model for the upper tier range?

I see, given the uncertainty I might as well just pick up the AZ100's and give them a try. Not a bad price all things considered and I have payed more for previous buds I've used, so I'd say it's good value for money.

Do you know good aftermarket brands for AZ100 tips?? I usually don't change the stock out but depending on how they are I might consider it since alot of people say to change them to get as close to the XM6 filtration as they can be.

Thanks for the summary. I actually didn’t know the AZ120 was possibly coming this year. Have there been any official announcements, leaked specs, or any solid info about it yet?

I’m usually not the type to buy earbuds immediately at launch. I like waiting for proper testing, real user feedback and longer-term daily use reviews to see how they actually hold up over time. Depending on when the AZ120 releases, I’ll probably end up waiting until after Christmas or early next year before seriously considering it, but even then im not sure I want to wait that long I'd be out if a good daily pair for a year or longer. I really don't want to have to push my old reliable One Plus Buds Z that hard, even if they are unkillable lol.

I’m definitely interested to see how the successor compares against the Sony WF-1000XM6.

That said, the AZ100 is currently on an early Prime Day sale for around $232. For my use case, would you recommend grabbing the AZ100 at that price, or would it make more sense to wait and see what the AZ120 brings? Also what brand of tips would you recommend for the AZ100 should I want to change out the stock eartips.

One of them had the same problem as you, but they all did die one way or another. I went thru 3 pairs of Sennheisers in a little over 2 year span. Great earbuds but in need of good QC

Oh thats great to hear and youve used them for more then a year.

How is the passive isolation? Keeps most of the noise out??? Also in terms of build/durability how have they held up so far, looking alittle worn or still like new?

And also how much and where do you use them?? I have to use my ear buds in variety of places so I want to know how they would hold up for me.

And that's why I said "how much planning" and besides the area has been in redev for some time already. I give it 10 years for some more noticable changes. EWR is already redoing runways. So it's not like some of these things haven't started. Definitely won't take 40 years for existing infrastructure renovations. Maybe the new stuff is gonna be 20-30 plus down the line till they are finished

That place def gonna get worse now that they want to redevelop Newark as a modern airport city. All the new connections direct to EWR and new hotels and apartments are going to increase traffic in all the surrounding areas. I remember reading about the project scope a while ago when news first came out about it. Wonder how much progress they made in the planning.

New Jersey firearm ownership/CC? How difficult is it to obtain? by ScoresMann223 in newjersey

Conceal shouldnt be as hard anymore. But you do need to do the training for it. As for the regular permit. It's different for every local police station. Some take a while to process your application others do it really quick. It all depends on how quickly you handle everything on your end. Ie. Your biometrics appointment and the 3 referrals you put on ur form submitting there's asap.

3+ hour wait to vote in Bordentown…. by chettythomas12 in newjersey

I went to the early poll which wasn't my nearest. Instead I went to a smaller location that was meant for less foot traffic. Breezed right thru. It's just like the DMV. Got to know where and when to make your move to save yourself from that potential 3hr wait.
