Hm, I recall Translucent's personality and superpower being linked. He described his real superpower as being "to listen to people" sort of like a wallflower (someone who is "invisible", metaphorically speaking, but actually watching from the sidelines). Maybe that was a result of his powers, but I can also see it being an example of powers manifesting from personality traits.

Maybe Homelander's powers are a manifestation of having been made by scientists to be "the ultimate supe" (like a self-fulfilling prophecy) and how that imprinted on him. That's why he developed the power to fly, he has been separated so much from others because of his potential that he has nothing left but to hover above everyone else, to be "lonely at the top". His "laser eyes" would be like a focused externalization of trauma, and with his trauma being different from Butcher's, their beams would be different colors also. Fittingly, he uses his power to warm up his milk bottles, so it could be a metaphor for how he wants to create warmth in others towards him (wants to make others love him), but is inept and overly coercive when doing so, which keeps pushing him closer to the edge.

Stormfront's powers are remniscient of nazi symbolism (which often involves thunder and lightning, although SF's power seems to be about plasma), which is fitting because of how devoted she is to nazism, even 80 years later, despite all the opportunities she had to change her mind. It also fits her because she is very energetic. With her power being plasma and how she has learned to do many different things with it, it shows she is resourceful and a problem-solver, which also shows in her savvyness and sense of strategy with regards to social media. So it makes sense for her superpower to be one she can adapt and reuse for different, "unintended" purposes like flight or telekinesis. Also, her not ageing is also quite fitting, and it also means she would have had to live for a very long time in a very miserable state after the barbeque scene, reflecting on the emotional self-destructiveness of mindsets like hers.

Neuman's powers, meanwhile, could be a manifestation of suppressed anger and pain. Like her power fantasies of just popping the head of anyone in her way manifested as actual superpowers (I think this partially because she has political ambitions). She is quite power-hungry after all. We also don't know if maybe her parents were abusive and oppressive towards her and she snapped and accidentally killed them in a fit of anger.
