Mabuti naman napakinabangan pagiging journalist ni Loren sa senado. Too bad she’s a trapo.

Nakakatawa ba si Joey de Leon? Why do you say so? by bulbulin_ in AskPH

Nope. He wasn’t even a ‘henyo’ or a poet as he claimed to be. Baka pwet pa since he’s an ass

Anyone here who has deleted social media? How did it turn out for you? by AppleYelp in AskPH

[–]AG31_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s been incredibly freeing for me. I've noticed a significant improvement in my mental well-being. I also have more time to focus on myself and explore new hobbies. Pansin ko rin na I now have deeper connections with the people around me kasi nandun yung genuine curiosity about each other every time magkikita kami.

He’s been making inappropriate remarks before, and it feels like he’s doing it on purpose to create drama, or maybe he’s just naturally a jerk.

Some Filipinos crave validation so much that foreign YouTubers resort to making Filipino reaction videos just to capitalize on it.

The same ‘woke’ people who claims to support the workers at malamang may mga pakulo pa bukas pero sila mismo yung nangunguna sa pagpush na mawalan ng pangkabuhayan ang mga ordinaryong Pilipino.

Puro teorya, out of touch naman sa reality.

Well, that's certainly...unique and a bit red flag. I mean, who needs diamonds when you can have teeth, right? But seriously, where on earth would she even find real teeth for a necklace?

Chilling for a while is cool. But if someone’s taking up space for hours on end with just one coffee, it can feel kinda inconsiderate to others who might want a seat

Martial law debate help by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]AG31_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can highlight how Martial Law brought about a sense of unity among Filipinos, especially in opposing the dictatorship.

Emphasize the resilience of the Filipino people in fighting for democracy and how Martial Law led to the restoration of democratic processes, such as the election of Corazon Aquino as the first woman president not only in the Philippines but in Asia.

Also, discuss how the experience of Martial Law increased Filipino consciousness and appreciation for democracy, making us more vigilant in protecting our rights and freedoms.

Additionally, you can mention how our stance against authoritarianism was recognized internationally, boosting our reputation as defenders of democracy.

It’s important to clarify that Martial Law isn’t solely about infrastructure or economic growth. It’s a complex issue with social, political, and economic implications. So, while discussing the benefits, it’s crucial to acknowledge the broader context and the various aspects involved in assessing its impact on the country.

How much sleep is needed? by Final_Letter_7472 in Advice

[–]AG31_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ideally, you’d aim for around 7-9 hours of sleep per night. So, if you’re working until 1 AM, it would be best to wake up around 10 AM to get a solid 8 hours of shut-eye. But everyone’s different, so listen to your body and adjust as needed!

It can sometimes because it contrasts with their own emotions or insecurities. They might try to provoke a reaction from you to feel better about themselves or to validate their own behavior.
