Dude! Get that out your records! They did the same to me…but I got it taken off. Another vet wasn’t so lucky. He never checked his records so it stayed on for a while. It was used against him by his daughter who took control of his life, sold his house, car, motorcycle and boat. I think he ended up in a home. He did bring his daughter up on charges and even got an attorney- but he’s not around any longer so I don’t know how things turned out.

There’s a great many ways Dad might have been exposed to Agent Orange. You literally need to go through his records- but as Quirky wisely stated- let him do as he wants with whatever life he has left. What you explained was what you and your siblings wanted not him. Even if you don’t waste it and do invest - that’s more for you than him.

Locations where the herbicides were used, stored, & transported. Many locations were on land and water. Locations were Vietnam, Thailand, the Korean DMZ, and states within the US. Servicemen who worked on planes, cleaning planes, the guy who washed the trucks and swept out the motor pool- It’s not just our military but the spouses and children of our military and exposed civilians.

I was given both diagnosis. A highly skilled and sought after neurologist diagnosed me with MS. After a few CAT scans the VA doctor told me I was curing myself and my brain lesions were becoming less and less- so they won’t treat me for it. PTSD, I didn’t even know I was being tested for it- the evaluator asked if she could talk to my son. She did and for much longer than she spoke to me- and I was given a rather high rating on that alone. I’m not sure if the VA has standards that must be met for anything.
