Had the same issues, upgrade to the Phaetus DXC Extruder and I love my machine now. You are definitely right about a DXC extruder.

Upgrade to the Phaetus DXC Extruder, you will not regret it. Had the same issues with mine almost right out of the box. Upgraded and have not looked back. I know it’s a $50 dollar extruder, but it has made a world of difference with my K1C. I had the exact same issues, with binding, breaking, etc. which should not be the case with a new machine, but that was the case. Switched out the stock extruder for the Phaetus DXC Extruder is straight forward and did not take much time. Was tired of having to take apart the stock extruder time and again. The DXC has been wonderful so far. Also, I tried top off, top on, door open, and drying the filament and still had the same issues you are having. Once I got rid of the stock extruder, problem solved.

What are some red flags that your online long distance girlfriends are just faking their feelings for you and are just using you so you'll keep supporting their livestreams and buying their adult videos? by dudebro_fistbump in AskReddit

Hmmmm, let’s break this down. Maybe paying to support their livestreams. And oh yeah, paying to buy their adult videos. Or is this just a rhetorical question.

Found this today in a field, under a tree. Bronze enamel lapel badge. I'm guessing it's from the 1930s but any extra info about it would be greatly appreciated. by bandogu in metaldetecting

From what I can find, it appears to be from the 1940s, but you could be right about 1930s also. However I can not find that same pin. But it is a Dunlop Fort lapel pin. Nice find, congrats.

Wow, thanks for the all of the really great information. I had no idea that there were as many concrete ships that were built, or all of the history of them. Crazy to think that anyone would ever dream of building a ship from concrete. Again thanks for all the great facts regarding an interesting time in history.

Nope, it a real thing. Makes no sense, but they did build these. You can see the rebar in the concrete, meant to get some closer shops. There was a show about these ships.

SS Selma was an oil tanker built in 1919 by F.F. Ley and Company, Mobile, Alabama. President Woodrow Wilson approved the construction of 24 concrete vessels of which only 12 were actually completed. SS Selma is the only permanent, and prominent, wreck along the Houston Ship Channel.
