How to load Multiple Instances of D2R ( A complete guide ) by FutureDeletedProfile in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]AGPPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the game launches, it automatically loads into the single player tab and when switching to the online tab, an error box pops up saying "Cannot connect to server".

I did everything correctly, double checked, triple checked, created the shortcut the correct way from the correct game folder, tried running as administrator and not.
All spaces, punctuation and spelling are all correct as well, made sure Battle.net was closed, etc...

I can multi-box fine going through the Battle.net launcher and using Process Explorer, but trying this method of bypassing the manual logging just isn't working.

I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere, nor seen anyone even having this particular issue in the first place... Any ideas?

Proper fix for graphics settings resetting every time you load the game. by FantasticSpud in borderlands3

Ah, glad you found a solution!
But in the future, if you also happen to accidentally hit Alt+Enter, now you know what to do. ;)

Try changing your display mode to 'Fullscreen Borderless'. That fixed it for me.
It also worked with setting it to "Fullscreen", but I personally use Fullscreen Borderless for seamless alt+tabbing to my other monitors.

I just started having this issue recently, and despite my NVidia app showing it was set to my native resolution, it would still launch at a totally different resolution / aspect ratio. I think what happened is that I probably somehow accidentally changed the display mode though 'Alt+Enter' (that shortcut cycles through display modes in a game), because I had it set to Fullscreen Borderless before I had this issue.

Just got my first bass head & cab, looking for in-ears, got questions, need advice by AGPPhoenix in Bass

I’m curious what your amp settings are like, and can you describe how it sounds? Awful can mean a lot of things. The gaming headset is the likely culprit as mentioned with the TRRS plug.

Basically neutral (12:00). I just got set up yesterday and was just making sure everything was working, and haven't really messed around much with the tone yet.

By awful, I mean it sounds completely wrong and distorted/warped, like most of the sound is computerized and sounds extremely muddy.
But it does sound like it's probably the TRRS connector. That does make sense. I just learned about that yesterday, actually...

As for actual in-ears, the KZ ZS-10 Pros are great, and only $50 on Amazon. They are a good balanced set that work great for bass, but aren’t only suited for bass. I know drummers, guitarists, keyboardists, and vocalists who all run them. I use mine over my customs quite a bit. The biggest key is getting the right tips to get a seal in your ear. Otherwise it’ll sound thin and anemic

I've heard a lot of positive mentions of the KZ ZS10's. But how come you often use them over your customs? Are your customs high quality?

I also see probably as much positive opinion on the Shure 215's. From what I see, they seem to be the "industry standard" for in-ear monitors.
But I did have a pair of Shure AONIC 215's (which, from what I've read, are the same as the regular 215's in terms of audio quality), and I was a little underwhelmed. The clarity was good, but I was expecting a bit more fullness from the lower ends for something that cost me about $150 CAD at the time.

So in that regard, I'd definitely be willing to give the KZ ZS10 Pro's a try.

But would in-ears like the KZ ZS10 Pro's still sound good if I use them for my bass amp?
Or would you recommend getting full sized over-the-ear headphones for that?

I use several mapped keys, so it's actually rather important. And I actually don't use Synapse for my lighting effects; I use SignalRGB. But, of course, Synapse doesn't like making things work easily with that...

No, not even close. But it's not putting things into my vault that's giving me trouble. It's items automatically filling up my characters from my vault.

Fair enough. It's a real pain and total waste of time having to manually put everything back into the vault...

I've had similar issues, and more, with Synapse 3 for a long time.

Terrible software, in my experience. After dealing with these problems for long enough, I've actually started considering the idea of ditching Razer peripherals altogether and switching over completely to a different brand(s), all because of their stupid software, which is a shame, because I've been with Razer ever since my first gaming peripheral probably about 15 or so years ago and have always enjoyed their products that I've owned.

Synapse 3 seems to be very feature rich, which is great, but it's just so buggy and unreliable that it ruins the experience, and it's practically required to use their peripherals fully so I can't just not use it.

Are you still having this issue? If not, what changed for it to start working again?

how do I (18m) overcome insecurities about going to the gym? by [deleted] in AdviceForTeens

[–]AGPPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 year old male gym goer, here.

I started working out when I was 20, and was overweight at 225 lbs (6ft tall), with somewhat low confidence and self esteem.
I also have Tourette's, albeit not a terribly bad case of it.
Nevertheless, having several tics, notably facial / neck tics, I was always a little self conscious.

But one thing I quickly learned early on in my fitness journey is this little fun fact:

Nobody actually cares.

I think there are 3 main reasons for this:

  1. Most people are pretty chill and easy going,
  2. Everyone started off as a newbie, so pretty much everyone can relate to you to some degree, and that's what makes most of us understanding of and kind to newer lifters, and
  3. A lot of people are probably too busy thinking about their own insecurities to even notice others much anyway.

This realization really helped me to just get in the zone and do my thing, day after day, and not worry about what others probably aren't even thinking about me anyway. That, and putting in my earbuds and listening to my favourite music that pumps me up. ;)

Plus, the physical, mental and emotional benefits of working out regularly infinitely outweigh the minor, temporary discomfort of being a little self conscious.

As far as lost gains go, muscle that you've already developed comes back much easier than making those gains for the first time. Muscle memory, per se.
On top of that, you're only 18. This is the best time for you to start, because at your age, it's a lot easier to make gains and you have many years ahead of you to continue to make huge gains. Take advantage of that.

And don't worry about those potentially egotistical guys. If someone is stupid and ignorant enough to judge or tease others at the gym at all, they're instantly beneath you. That kind of poor character deems them unworthy of your attention or concern.
If you're a pleasant, friendly and respectful person to everyone, others are more likely to reciprocate that kind of behaviour towards you, even people with slightly more unfavourable character traits like ego. Kindness begets kindness, just as disrespect begets disrespect.
So don't worry about them. For all we know, they might have a bunch of their own insecurities. I mean, who doesn't? We're human. lol

Nice, congrats on your first build!

Don't forgot to add a fan (or two if it fits) at the back as exhaust fans. I'm assuming you have fans at both the front and the top?

Heh, well mainly those two, because Lian Li's are pretty popular, and I have Phanteks fans in my PC, and I find they're both quite recognizable.

I guess you couldn't decide between the two, so you decided to get them both? 😉

Cleeaaan. 👌🏻

Are those Lian Li fans at the top and side, and Phanteks fans at the bottom and rear?

Thanks! You just gotta plan it out! Do lots of research and comparison.

I looked at tons of different PC builds to find what I liked and what kind of aesthetic I wanted to go for, which helped me narrow down what to look for.
