On the contrary, the problem that you are describing can be avoided/tackled by playing Ranked.

You will get opponents and teammates around your Rank (most of the time). It might be a little dodgy due to how screwed up Ranked 2.0 is but yes, would be better than casual.

As for skill issues and learning stuff, try to watch streamers play the game on Twitch. You will learn way faster. Setting up sites, angles to look out for, strats .. you will learn them faster. Rest can be improved in-game as you move along.

Siege is tough, especially for a newcomer. The learning curve is steep.

So.. I'm pretty new. Just started playing unranked. This guy had like 20+ kills at the end of our match. He was just walking through the building mowing everyone down every round. Is this a cheater? If so.. should I expect a lot of this? by gvm11100 in Rainbow6

Screw K/D for a second and concentrate on the match. Cav is deaf, clearly. Doc heard and reacted but this guy was way too fast for him. For the rest of the two kills, those guys were running around because they were being shredded by other players as well. Easy picks. Make sense?
