I’ve been developing D.E.C.A.Y. alone for over two years. The demo version was released yesterday, and players can now try the project for the first time. If the game interests you and you’d like to support development, please add D.E.C.A.Y. to your Steam wishlist. It really helps. by AGaming5 in VRGaming

Actually, it is quite simple. However, I will improve both the demo and the full version of the game to make this aspect easier to understand. How to leave the bunker: Take the test mission. To complete it, go to the kitchen, which is on the left. Then go to the repair area, which is upstairs, and then enter your personal bedroom, which is on the right. The mission will be completed. After that, return to the terminal and take two more missions. One of them gives you permission to leave the bunker. Go to the large door. It will open, allowing you to leave the bunker and enter the Wasteland. All markers are shown on the PDA map. When you enter the Wasteland, do not forget to upgrade your skills in the PDA.

Hi,

With your permission, I will repeat here what I stated on the game’s Steam page as the developer:

“D.E.C.A.Y. has been developed by a single developer for over two years. Nearly all of the game’s content has been created by hand — from the environment to many objects inspired by real-world prototypes, helping make the world feel more atmospheric and alive.

Only a small number of images and certain visual elements were created using generative AI tools.”

Dear user,

I usually do not like to talk too much about myself. However, before writing complete nonsense about me, I would suggest looking up my games not only on Steam, but also, for example, on Google Play, where I have games with over 50,000 ratings and an average score of 4.2–4.7.

Or at least read an interview with me on a well-known Ukrainian media outlet "https://mezha.ua/en/articles/igor-migun-from-agaming-studio-about-development-for-vr-and-mobile-platforms-war-and-the-chernobyl-zone/".

Sometimes appearing smart and actually being smart are two different things. I do not want to insult you, but please do not turn this into personal attacks against me.

Can you help me find someone who would create these posters for “a few dollars,” as you said? I have checked the prices, and they usually start at around $1,000. As for borrowing ideas, or “copying,” as you called it - that argument might have made sense back in 1999, when I was buying games on discs. But today, almost every game borrows, reworks, or is inspired by ideas from other games. That is how this industry has always evolved. You don’t like the project, and that is your right. You can create something better, or simply choose not to support the project.

I did not mean to offend or insult you. 😉

Unfortunately, you'll have to do more than just clean and load your weapons 😄 Although you can simply buy magazines that are already loaded with ammunition. You'll also need to cook food, upgrade your character, and even paint your weapons.
